How long after stopping birth control did you get pregnant?

How long after you stopped birth control (the pill) did you get pregnant? Hoping to get pregnant relatively quick as we already have an age gap. Should I request something like clomid?

The first time it was within a month but I miscarried. Dr thought maybe because I didn’t give my body a few cycles to get back to normal. They recommended waiting at least 3 cycles before trying.

Six months. Well, I guess four months to actually conceive. We weren’t trying, it was a “if it’s meant to happen it will” type thing. I was 30 yrs old if it matters.

First time it was about 3-4 months after I stopped my pill (son is 9 now) and second time I stopped my pill it took 2 months (daughter is 4 months).

It depends on what pill you are on. I was on the mini pill (progesterone only) and got pregnant the first month I came off the pill. That baby is now 9 months old. I was on the combo pill another time and it took 3 months to get pregnant once off it. I have also been on the depo shot, which took a year to get pregnant, had a miscarriage, and got pregnant again a year later after being put on the mini pill to regulate cycles.

First one took 8 months the next three I was pregnant immediately. Different for each person
