How long after taking out Mirena did you get pregnant?

Anyone that’s had the Mirena IUD: How long after it got taken out did it take you to get pregnant? Any complications?

I got pregnant before I got my first period (which was only about 3-4 weeks after removal) When I asked my OB the same question, his answer was “All I can tell you is that the goalie is out of the box” :rofl: Sure enough!

Well… I got my positive pregnancy test in May, had it taken out around April 9th. So… not long at all

Twice removed and both times have taken 6 months

4 months, no complications

Mine fell out along the way now pregnant. Don’t think wouldn’t long been out as was in within 6month as had ultrasound

I had it 2 times for a total of 10 years got it out this past January got pregnant in February…. Due in November!

Took me a year to get pregnant which was a very long time compared to previous pregnancy. Then I had back to back miscarriages before having my double rainbow baby

I had mirena 3 times. Every time I got it removed to start trying I’d get prego right away the first month I had it out buuuut all 3 times I miscarried that first month pregnancy then it would take anywhere from 2-8 months to get prego again after the miscarriages.

It took about 3 months and I had an early miscarriage after. Took another 9 months to get pregnant again and it was successful. I was told it can take up to a year because of the hormones.
