Hi, my job is requiring us to be CPR certified now. Can anyone tell me about the class and how long they usually are? My boss doesn’t know much about it since she’s taking the class too.
You can take the classroom part on line and then find a place that will do the test out. American heart association. A class might take around 4 hours.
If jobs with titles requires it, have the class taught at work so you are paid for it. Takes about 3 hours
I think it’s just one day like 4 hours.
There’s a morning only version, a whole day version and if it’s the full work version, two days.
Ever heard of the site Google?! JFC i can’t believe some of the shit asked here
It depends on what kind of CPR class you need. Theirs the Red Cross version and the AHA version. There’s a special class for healthcare workers as well. The length and price of the class is dependent on these things. It can range anywhere from 90 minutes to several hours.
If healthcare with AED is what you need it’s about 4 hrs. Check your local hospital EmS department as they often teach right there at the hospital and it’s less costly-
For my job I think was an hour or 2 at the most have to take every couple of years work in schools and we had to do written tests
