We started sleep training at 4 1/2 months

He was about 4 and then his sister came along but thankfully she loved her cot

I co slept with my daughter until she decided she no longer wanted too. She didn’t start sleeping in her own bed until she was 8 and there was still times she would come get in my bed in the middle of the night for the next 3 years.

6 months I switch because their more mobile and I can’t sleep thinking they will roll off the bed and get hurt

My little girl slept with me until she was 12

You will regret it. And it’s not safe.

Mine all slept in a bassinet beside my bed til 3 months then into a crib in my room til 5 months, then in the crib in their own room

My kids had bassinet next to my bed or cot til 1 to 2 in my room then moved to their own room after that…

One year is long enough after that you’re creating a codependency between child and parent. Unhealthy bond

8 years here and going strong :joy:

My daughter didn’t leave my bed til she was 4 :sob: will not be co sleeping with this next one

My daughter is 11 and I tuck her in her bed. When I wake in the morning there’s a 50/50 chance she’s in my bed. I don’t get on to her tho… her daddy passed in 2019 and she needs me. I’ll let her sleep with me into adulthood if that’s what she needs. Now I will say she’s a straight A student, active in sports, and never throws a fit to go to her own bed. Even if she falls asleep in my bed before I lay down and move her, she’s fine. And I move her alot since I got engaged. She’s always fine. She really likes to fall asleep in my bed and I just move her but she’s a deep sleeper

Depends on the kid. Some for 1 year some for five

Never. My son always slept in his own bed. Where he belongs.

Lmfao my 10 yo still crawls into my bed

Whenever they have the emotional maturity to stay in their room and be ok with it. You may need to push a little, but it’s a different age for every child. Every circumstance is unique. There is not a specific age.

Hell my 10 yr still climbs n the bed sometimes. It’s their safe place

We never co-slept. In our opinion, it was unhealthy for both our marriage and our children.

Well she’s 7 and a half… stilllll in my bed lol
