8 am - 6 pm at the day care home for my 2. Previously we had sitters come to our home but they moved away. We put the kids in a private preschool and elementary that was open 6 am-6 pm year round (day camp in the summer); they were there 8 am-6 pm most days. They turned out fine, made lifelong friendships, are independent and weren’t too clingy as they had attention from lots of people besides mom & dad.

I drop off my 6 year old to school, I start work at 8am and then day care picks her up from school at 2:33pm and she stays there until I get off work 5pm :slightly_smiling_face: Mon-Fri. I’m off on weekends.
I had a baby almost 4 months ago so I am currently on paid family leave and trying to mentally prepare adjusting to go back to work won’t be easy

I drop my daughter off at 7am and she gets picked up by her dad at 4:15pm

Less than 8…two days a week

I work full time for the hospital. She is there from 8-4 weekdays and she absolutely loves it. I have always worked and my kids have all done so well academically because they are used to routine and know all their letter and what not by the time school starts.

Nine hours Monday-Thursday for the baby. The bigs stay home or go to school. It’s what works for us.

None…I bring my daughter to work with me…

I had to work full time to pay bills and such. My daughter was in daycare from 7:30 - 5:30 Monday thru Friday. Some of these comments are ridiculous and rude :unamused:. As woman and mothers, we should support each other and help each other, not judge. The “I chose to raise my kids so they didn’t go to daycare " and " never because I don’t trust them or want to pay them” etc. Comments are so unnecessary. Life’s expensive, shit happens and not everyone has a choice to stay home full time! We ain’t living in the 40s and 50s anymore! Some woman want to work and some have to work! And that’s okay! A mother is not defined by whether she works or stays home. Ugh. This is why I don’t have many female friends. Females so petty

Zero. It’s not a moral or financial option to me.
I don’t trust them or want to pay them billions
