We have a family friend who is a hair dresser. She is giving my daughter who’s blonde, some more blonde highlights to lighten it. Daughter is 12. She said “pay whatever you think is good”… I don’t get my hair done so have no idea what’s fair to pay?!?

Where I am, these services in salon prob start off around $60. Give or take. Time is money. Products cost money. So keep that in mind.
I pay around $150 for a full head. I would pay probably $75 for a kiddo and to show appreciation

Depends on your location. Call around to local businesses and ask for pricing. Here locally you can get it done for $80-90 before tip.
Half or full head? Also my hair broke getting highlights on the very blonde bits… I’d be nervous letting someone that young get highlights.
+I think I would get a kit and do it myself!!!

A family friend does my daughters full head highlights at home and charges her $100
My sister just got her 12 year old some highlights at a salon and they charged her 75, I’d say 100 is good.

I wouldn’t get a 12 year old highlights but if I did I would expect to pay around $75. plus tip.
Cost me $55 to get highlights in my hair earlier in the year

I would rather she gave a price , hate when someone does this .
$100 … If she didn’t give a set price she truly just appreciates your business and whatever you offer!
Prices also depend on where you live.
- If you as an adult mother don’t go get your hair professionally done, then neither does a child !
