What does everyone pay their sitters?

I watch a boy in my kids class for 2 hours after school 5 days a week. I asked for $30 a week.

My daycare charges $52 and $55 CAD per day (infant, preschool), the sitters we use occasionally charge $25 CAD per hour for both kids.

33$/day for each kid (2 kids, 66$/day) that’s a daycare facility not a sitter.

Guys. I think I’m doing it wrong. I watch several kids. No one pays me. They barely bring food or diapers.
Depends. If it’s a short period like 1-2 hours $20. If it’s an evening like 4 or more hours $40.
When I babysat I charged 50 a week for 1 kid, 75 a week for 2 & 100 for 3. I supplied food and drinks/snacks.

It depends. When I babysat I would charge 10 an hour. But when i was 15 or 16. I watched 3 boys 4 to 5 days a week and got 300 a month
Sort of off topic. But. U can claim your baby sitting money on ur taxes in case no one knew… I fill out a self employment form.

Wow! This must not be NJ or NY! Anyone have NJ rates or rates for 2019? Cost for childcare in my area is $$$$ Stay at home mom here and I don’t even know if I can afford going to work as the childcare cost would wash out my pay.
$15 a day for anything less than 6 hours. $20 a day for anything over 6 hours. I also try to find someone that can babysit in my home. Its only my 4 year old until my 8 year old gets home around 3. And we supply them with food/drinks they like
Always remember if u find the perfect babysitter to show them how much u appreciate them through pay and praise good sitters r hard to come by
