How often do you clean your carpets?

How often do you clean your carpets. We have 6 kids in the house and it feels like they are never clean and I clean them almost once a week. I also work 45+ hours a week. And take them to gymnastics and karate during the week.

We usually clean ours every three months or so, but we only have carpet in the bedrooms. I vacuum three times a week.

I vacuum every day and get carpets cleaned 6 monthly with a carpet shampooer

I vacuum daily and get them shampooed yearly
