No. I don’t like to cook I didn’t learn until I was an adult to actually cook and it doesn’t come naturally . I cook probably 3 nights a week sometimes more sometimes less. 2-3 days I work. My partner will help cook dinner since nights to. There’s also leftovers

I cook six days a week, a three meals for me, hubby, and toddler. We both are lucky to stay home with our daughter…but sometimes I don’t feel so lucky to be cooking that much plus all the other household chores  We live in a fairly remote area, so the gas to get to a good restaurant plus the bill is pretty expensive.

Nope I don’t cook every night. I’m not everyone’s chef anymore. If, on the nights I don’t cook and no one else cooks then it’s just whatever. There are 4 other people in this house besides me!!!

I am Momma to 5, three still home. They are 9, 11 & 14 yrs old. I work full time. I cook most nights. Breakfast for dinner is fast, easy and filling. Fridays, Saturday, and Sunday I tend to make more elaborate dinners, and we have left overs.

I cook 4or 5timrs the rest is leftovers

I cook Monday-Wednesday. Thursday is leftover night and my kids aren’t here Friday so I just eat whatever or forget to eat half the time

I usually cook 5-7 nights a week. My husband passed away 5 months ago, so now I cook for my grandson & myself. There’s usually enough for leftovers a couple of nights each week.

Every night, tho sometimes we prep extra and have leftovers…So approx 4-5 meals per week

4 nights and I clean the kitchen and dishes afterwards. I wish I didn’t know how to cook.

Most nights. We only order out maybe twice a month. It’s healthier than fast food.

We cook pretty much every night but one a week. Usually there’s a cheat day of pizza or take out in there. Don’t get me wrong though, I have go to super fast meals because cooking daily is exhausting.

I cook on average about 4 nights a week. Sometimes it’s as simple as Hamburger helper. If I don’t cook, it’s snack night or we are eating out. Snack night is freezer foods, Ramen noodles, canned soups, sandwiches, etc for us. Or left overs.

Yes, every night, family of 4 (two are teenagers) i love cooking for my family. Highlight of my day after work. Twice a month on paydays, i pick up takeout as a treat

I take care of a disabled child every single day and work full time 5 days a week 3rd shift so I usually cook a bunch a couple of times a week and he does leftovers a few nights a week.

I cook about 5-6 nights a week. Usually once a week is takeout and sometimes once a week is leftovers.

I cook every night, unless there are enough leftovers for everybody. And if leftovers are the plan, and you don’t want them, make a sandwich.

Most of the times 5-6 nights a week. But I can get away with 5 nights with Saturday and Sunday being eating out days. I also absolutely hate cooking

I cook home meals between 4 and 6 days a week depending on how busy the schedule is. I pre plan weekly dinners

Yep! Every week or so we have a “leftover” night (my son calls it “fend for yourself” night) but there is a meal cooked every night.

I hate cooking, but yes I cook almost every night. Occasionally my husband cooks. Occasionally we order out.

We usually have one take out night a week, when we have enough money but yes, otherwise I cook every night.

I cook about 4 nights a week, then have leftover night, then a night eating out and other night is fend for yourself kinda night lol

Try meal preping
You could prep and freeze a weeks worth of meals on 1 day

I cook probably 4 or 5 nights a week, other nights it’s leftovers. I try and keep stuff for easier dinners on busy days/lazy days.We get pizza or fast food probably twice a month or so.

I cook about 3 to 6 nights a week and we all get our own if I don’t cook but my youngest is 16 now so I can do that.

Monday to Friday . Weekends it’s get your own

Yes. I cook 5-6 days a week and my fiancé cooks on the weekends I work.

I cook every night if not every night 6 days a week

Every single night. Maybe about once -twice a month we will order take out! Normally we plan that when we are very busy and have a lot going on!

We only eat fast food/out maybe 20 times a year.rest of the time we eat at home, but as my kids are getting older i make them help and some days we just decide on cereal

Yep. Without fail. Take away is gross.

Slow cook meals and left overs are great if you don’t want to cook every single night

I try batch cooking
So I will cook 3 meals and 3 days are left overs, and one night is pizza night (its little Ceasars cheap pizza).

I cook every night accept Fridays, by then we eat leftovers.

Home made meals are the best…

Meal prep and freeze and take out and bake/heat when needed and have a left over night every 2 nights

Take turns would be acceptable.

Damn near. Usually nothing big but I cook.

Every night. We may eat out every other week.

I cook 5/7 nights. The other 2 we have leftovers

Yep, every single night! Unless there are leftovers from the night before :woman_shrugging:

Two times a month maybe I cook at home :grimacing:

I don’t cook every night, no. My partner cooks 70% of the time. I work until 6 so if we waited for me to do it we’d not be eating until almost 8. I try to cook on the weekends to give him a break.

Ummm…most nights, yea. I’m feeding 5 people, 4 of which are big guys over 6ft tall…I call 3 of them son. It gets expensive to eat out when that’s what you’re feeding

We cook every night. May not be me every night but we do. He cooks some days, I do others. Some nights I do homemade lunchables aka charcuterie board style for us and one for kiddo. Left over nights. We do fast food here and there for lunch when running errands and for dinner on grocery shopping days. Some nights it’s cereal for dinner. Fed is fed in this house lol :joy:

I cook every night… except Sundays we will have left overs or we go out to eat. My husband will cook on his nights off also (maybe 2 nights a week) which is nice too have a meal cooked for me as well

Yup. Sure do. Occasionally we’ll order in or have s frozen pizza or something easy. But yeah, meals every night. Protein, starch and veggie.

Yes cook every single night, We don’t eat fast food… Big garden in summer…

I cook 4-5 days a week, usually Sunday to Thursday ( Friday and Saturday we usually eat out)

Atleast 5 times a week the other two is sandwiches and or fast food

Once you get a flow going it becomes pretty easy and natural

Pretty much yes … and if I don’t cook it’s usually left overs

Seriously!!! Every night.

Use to when husband was alive

I do cook every night… except the occasional go out for dinner or left over night

Yep. Every single nite. Unless we go out of course

2 or 3 nights a week at most.

Husband expects it Lol what was he born with no arms :joy::joy:

I usually cook every night. We order on occasion

If not every night then it’s 5-6 x … I actually do not like my mom and son to be eating fast food cause I know it hurts both of their stomachs and the nights I don’t want to cook they’ll get something then they regret it by saying oh we should’ve listened to you about not getting this and that etc :joy::joy:… fast food is not healthy for you. And ima tell y’all something I did a little experiment a couple years ago to see if the fast food crap molds or anything and left it alone for 3 months and it NEVER molded so if that doesn’t tell u something then idk and I did the same with bread from the store (okay this one was an accident okay & it never molded either) …. We’ve also stopped getting takeout pizzas and I make them at home 2x a week. Just cook it’ll save a lot more money too especially if you cook enough of food for leftovers then u can freeze it or repurpose the leftovers for a different meal.

Um, yeah. Actually cheaper if ya do it right. And a lot of times, if your a decent cook it tastes better too! :woman_shrugging:

Give the poor guy some real food.id be tired of eating out too

Every nite. Me or husband cooks.

No I cook about 3-4 times a week I won’t cook until all leftovers are eaten in not wasting money or food lol and my kids know if they want something else those leftovers better get eaten I never go out to eat but once a month

If he wants a change he should be the one to implement it. He can cook or order meals.
Every night is a hell no. I’m busy, pregnant, have a toddler, and in grad school. If my hy suddenly made that decision without consulting me he’d have to do his part.

Yep. There are tons of things you can do to help dinner time not be so overwhelming!
Meal prepping. You can do the prepped freezer meals or prep once a week.
Dump and go dinners. Throw everything in the instant pot or crockpot and let the appliance do the rest.
There are also dump casserole dishes you can throw in the oven.
I write a meal plan for a month at a time. That way there is none of that “I have no idea what to cook”. It’s right there on the menu. Everyone has their own assigned days and helps decide meals for the month so that no one can complain there is never anything they like.

I used to cook all the time at home , it’s just the 2 of us now and at our age 71 & 75 we eat a lot less than we used to. So we eat left overs alot. I came from a large family so I enjoy cooking for a crowd more than just got 2

I cook every night. Occasionally he brings home something if it’s been a rough day but mostly I cook.
It saves us money lol

I hated cooking but I cook Monday -Thursday lol give or raw on the days:)

90% of the time, yes, I cook dinner every night.

Yes! waste of money to eat out, Plus it’s so unhealthy to consume all the terrible ingredients take out adds

One of us, either him or I, usually cook dinner 5-6 nights a week. The kiddos enjoys pizza and wings, so he usually asks for that 1 night a week. Aside from that, we eat at home

Yeah. I probably cook 5-6 of 7 nights. Someone else said if you have all the staples, it’s not as overwhelming and that’s true! I do love utilizing my crockpot also. Lots of easy soup or chili recipes out there.

We eat out maybe once a week. The rest of the time we cook at home. For us it is just too expensive to eat out a lot.

Yes every night. Some nights may be crockpot meals. Some nights may be sub sandwiches and chips but a meal is prepared every night.

Yes I cook most nights we very seldom have fast food do you both work if so perhaps you can take turns if you don’t then you should be cooking

We eat at home alot. Granted we are a family of 5. So eating out every night isn’t an option.

Please note I’m not saying I cook everything from scratch. Because I sure as sh/# don’t have that kind of time. But we do indeed make sure theres enough meat veg, ect… To cook for the week. If we don’t use up all the meat it just means I don’t have to buy so much the next week. It’s all frozen.

No one person get’s stuck cooking 5 night’s a week in our home, and we have “fend for yourself” night’s as well.

I do even when I’m working. When it’s a hard day I usually go for soup and sandwiches or I make stew.

I cook at least 5 days. Sometimes dinner is leftovers. We usually go out for dinner one day on the weekends.

We eat out maybe once a week. I can see his point if you are eating out every night.
