I tell my kids everyday via text ,phone or in person. My youngest is 24
I have not heard zhis phrase even once…
47 the day before she passed
Im 44 n my still says it why would she wouldn’t
Never she always has and will till she dies

I’m 56 yrs old and my still tells me she loves me
I’m 54 and she’s 87 and end each phone call or visit with I love you.
Whoa - mine still does and I’m 49. I still say it to my kids ages 19-29.

I don’t say I love you to my parents, except on a very rare occasion. They’ve been shitty people/parents my entire life and if I tell you I love you often it’s out of respect they do not deserve my respect. I care for them, but I’m not bonded with them and don’t crave to hear I love you back from them. My kids on the other hand I tell them every day and will continue to do so till I die.

Well so far 34 yrs old and my momma still tells me she loves me every time we talk and occasionally a random txt. So she hasn’t stopped yet.
Could not even remember her saying those words to my face ever since I was a kid. She only ever said I love you (typed as “love u”) on chats (which is very rare, too, btw — rare as in once or twice every year… not even exaggerating). That’s why I make it a point to always look my two daughters in their eyes and tell them how much I love them.
Never… my mom still.says I love you everyday if we happen to speak! And I’m 36… 37 end of May
I tell my children that I love them multiple times a day.

Sept 27th 2019 was the last time my mama told me she loved me, Right before i went to bed. She passed away the next morning

We say it all the time. We’ve had so many losses and we all know tomorrow isn’t promised. I tell my children and husband I love you everyday and pray for them every night. I will never stop saying I love you to the people I love even if we seem to be old.
My mom never stopped. She says it daily to me and vice versa. I do the same w my child. I am so sorry. Start by saying it to her and maybe things can change.
I’m 40 and my parents and I say ‘love you’ everytime we say goodbye! And if it’s in person, they still get a hug and kiss. I’ll do this until the day I can no longer do this, and I know they’ll do the same I also say it to my big brother whether he likes it or not 
I’m also lucky enough that my 18 year old son still tells me he loves me too (I must have done something right lol)

My mom said she loved me on a daily basis. I’m 23. Just lost her last month on 1/12/20, my aunts always say love you when they talk to me on the phone or when we r together and are leaving each other.
I grew up in a tradition/culture that doesn’t express such. I have never heard my mom say that to me and honestly I will be freaked out if she ever said that to me. My kid on the other hand, will have to hear it for the rest of her life.

Lost my mom on 1/1/19 and I told her I loved her the night before she passed. We weren’t expecting her to pass! I tell my kids daily that I love them because tomorrow isn’t always promised!

I say it to my mom and she says it back every night we’re together. She lives with me now since she’s 70, but it was part of our nightly ritual when I was a child, too.
My son is 18, last thing we say to each other is Love you, on phone, if he’s at work or with mates. A kiss before bed, or a love you text if either of us is out. Daughter is 29, exactly same, text night love you every day. Elderly parents tell me and I tell them, I’m nearly 52
I don’t ever remember our mom or dad ever saying I love you. But I always tell my son and grandkids I love them. And there significant others.
I’m 46 my mom recently passed age never went a day of my life without telling me she oved me a million times a day.
I don’t remember ever hearing my mom say I love you first. It’s only ever been said in response to my I love you’s. And I haven’t had a reason today that to her in years.

I was 41 years old when she stopped; she passed away at that time but she said it every time we spoke to each other. I tell my children that every time we speak as well because you’ll never know when it’ll be the last time.
I’m 48 and mine still says it every time we talk. I will never stop telling my children I Love You!

My mom tells me all the time and I tell my family I love them all the time. I’ve been down that road of holding back words and regretting it- never again.
I say I love you to my family and friends including my Mom. Ending phone calls or visits …with it. Even in texts …
My Grandma was the most cantankerous, ornery woman you’d ever meet. But one of the last things she ever said to us was “I love you.”
Mom never said ILY when I was a child. Now as adults we do because I started saying that to my younger siblings when I moved out of the county. Now everyone, including Mom, says it. 
This started back in 2002. It’s nice.

Shoot, i tell all my boys 21, 20, 17, and 7, i love them all day everyday…when im gone they will remember mommas voice and hear me say i love u the rest of their lives.

I’m 42, my mama is 73. And my kiddo is 18… we all say I love you every day. And my siblings EVERYDAY before we leave.
I’m 27 and my mom, dad, step mom and step dad all still tell me they love me everytime I see or talk to them…I didnt know there was an age where parents stopped saying it
My moms still tells me she loves me everyday and will until the day she leaves this earth. As I will with my son.
We say it all the time. I will also tell my daughter that until I’m on my deathbed.
She still says it after every call and I tell my boys so much when they hang up on the phone with friends they say love you to them. They’re 20 and 16.

My mom told me every time we got off the phone or were leaving each other and was always like that growing up, then she had her stroke at 41 and now can only say one word. I miss hearing it. My dad still tells me he loves me every time we get off the phone daily, he lives 28 hours away.
My kids are all in there 50s and I still tell them I love them always will

The last time I heard it from my mom was when cancer took her ability to speak from her but I still seen it in her eyes. Even tho she’s been gone awhile now, I still tell her I love her and always will.

I think it’s important to always tell you children no matter the age that you love them
My mom did everytime we talked until she passed away last December. She died in her sleep at home. I found her the next morning. She was 50. My dad and i say it atleast once a week now but when I didn’t live with him I told him daily on the phone bc I worked long hours and hardly got to see him.
My mom still says it everytime we talk and I tell mine all the time hugs and kisses at random too 10 3 and 5m old my 10 yr old says i give her to much attention but i tell her that’s how its going to be the rest of her life i give her extras when she’s been away she hates it now but i know she’ll miss it when im gone i dont want my kids to ever feel like they weren’t or are not loved love is to important in our lives i think sometimes people forget that

I say it to my mom every time we hang up the phone or say good bye in person. I tell my sons (twins are 14 and oldest is 17) every single night. I lost my own father when I was 14, so I make it a point to tell my loved ones that I love them all the time.
My mom says it. She always says it since I can remember and I’m 34. I got a 3 year old and I tell her I love her and she says same thing, but sometimes she tells me I love you to the moon and back, also says I love you a bunches and a munches. Of course I tell her same thing back.
I don’t think you should ever stop saying it . I’m 42 and my mom still says it and I say it back. My oldest son is 21 and we still say it to each other and his brothers 13 & 2 say it as well and to each other everyday, they FaceTime everyday since my oldest is in college .

I tell my children I love them everyday multiple times. They get tired of it I tell them so much. They are 23 and 22. I have told them that everyday of their life and I won’t ever stop until I die. I don’t understand people who don’t tell their children

My dad. Im not sure. Been in my life, my whole life. Same household. I dont think i can remember him actually saying i love you. Im sure he did when i was younger (hoepfully) but i cant remember him ever saying it.
My mom we used to say i love you when we hung up the phone but its been prob. About 4 or 5 years maybe since we have. Not sure what changed.
I tell my kids i love them a billion times a day. Sometimes i just yell out their name like im gonna yell at them for something and when they say what? I say i love you. Just to remind them. 
i cant imagine not telling them i love them.
My mom said it everyday until she died when I was 31 but she wouldn’t say it getting off the phone because she said then it was just a reflex like saying goodbye and didnt have any real meaning behind it🙂
