How to deal with sleep with regression?

I’m pretty sure that my daughter is going through some sleep regression or maybe separation anxiety. She used to go to bed just fine at night. She would whine a little but then she would go to sleep and stay asleep. However for the past couple months she either wakes up screaming or she just starts screaming as soon as I lay her down. My questions are for the mamas that are going through this or have before. How long did it last for your child? Is there a point that I should be concerned that there is a deeper problem? Should I keep trying to put her in her own bed or just put her with me? How will I know when she is past the stage? Any advice at all would be a big help. Thank you in advance.
