How to fix a toddlers sleep schedule

How do you fix a 2 year olds sleep schedule. My toddler has gone nocturnal. It’s 2am and wide awake. I tried having him sleep in my bed but he just wants to jump and already woke my husband up once who needs to get up at like 2:50am for his job. Idk how it swapped. Maybe an accidental late nap. But I’m losing mind.

When little one falls asleep, wake them up at a decent time 7/8am. They will be tired, but it’s OK. Let them take a nap at 11/12, no longer than 1hr. Keep them up the rest of the day, and start bedtime process 45 minutes before you want them to fall asleep.

We need more info. What time does he wake up, when and how long is his nap, what does he do all day?

a lot of times after dinner i take my son outside for a long walk, or to play outside for an hour. after i take him upstairs, i give him a bath, brush his teeth then read his book.
also if you can get your kiddo to only nap once, either before lunch or right after lunch, that usually helps me.

Their systems switch up every few yrs as they grow. Expect it again around age 6 when another set of molars come in.
Get rid of naps for a few days. Have a set bed time. Every. Single. Night. Make a whole routine. Bath, teeth, cuddles/book, bed. But ending naps for a few days should fix it. If not, see his Dr.
