Who do I call for my son? I’m trying to schedule for an autism screening for him, he’s 17 months, but don’t know who to call.

at 17 months you would talk to your sons pediatrician express your concerns to why you think he might be Autistic and ask if they could refer you to someone so he can be tested
Get a referral from your pediatrician. That’s what we did. However I will warn you, most places have a wait list. We waited almost 12 months before my daughter got evaluated.
We ended up going through disability and they had us in to someone with in a month
Most Peds do a screening at 18 months. But to answer your question it would be started with the pediatrician, and they will do a screening and then refer out if they feel your son needs to have another opinion.
Ask his pediatrician for a referral
Your gp should refer you to specialists if they too think the signs are there
