I posted a question the other day about my 19 month old waking up screaming in the middle of the night and not wanting to sleep without me. It’s almost like it starting to get worse. She used to at least fall asleep on her own but now most nights she just screams. It used to be less frequent but now it’s getting closer together. The weird part is that when she stays with her grandparents for the weekend they say they don’t have issues. I did some research and it seemed like she could have sleep regression. I spoke to her pediatrician and he said it could be that or her molars. My question is if it’s sleep regression, how long does that usually last? Is it an every night thing? Should I even bother trying to get her to sleep in her bed? Should I try letting her “cry it out”?
It’s been proven CIO isn’t healthy for young children… my son is 3 and I have to let him fall asleep in my bed then if I’m awake when he falls asleep I’ll move him to his bed but if I’m not I just leave him where he is. My thing is they are only little for so long I’d enjoy the cuddles as much as possible
Have you had any guest recently? I had this problem with my son when he was a year. I thought it was everything but one thing. My mother told me to sage my house. I am a firm believer people can bring bad energy to your home. My son wasn’t sleeping all night for weeks and I just couldn’t for the life of me get why. He slept in everyone’s house but his own. Once I saged my house, it stopped. I don’t know if you believe in those things but it’s worth a try. It can definitely be teething/sleep regression/growth spurt but done rule out your house needing a good old sage cleanse
I had a red light in room …softer then white…it helped my son sleep while going through this stage…good luck
Night terrors maybe?, try putting music on with deep bass in her room, if you have radio station that plays music all night.
Whatever is wrong your child needs you for comfort, support, and reassurance . Your baby is too young to cope with this problem alone. Let your baby sleep with you . Pray for your baby . Ask God for help and protection for your baby. Satan does have power in this world , and only God can stop Satan. Do the grandparents go to church? You said that they do not have any problems with your baby. May God bless you and your baby.
I no u don’t want t to think this could ever be a possible but could there have been any type of sexual abuse
