How to get crayon off the wall?

My daughter took a crayon to my wall. I tried the magic eraser this morning and it barely took it off. Anyone have any suggestions?

Magic eraser or aerosol spray baby sunscreen!

MOTHERCOULD would recommend spray sunscreen!

Mayonnaise. If it’s crayon mayonnaise will take it straight off

Blow dryer will melt it off

I used dawn Dish soap along with a magic eraser. I used the hottest water I could stand for the magic eraser and a lot of elbow grease

A hair dryer since it’s a wax

Any kind of grease cleaner.

Pink stuff. The paste not the spray

Dip an old toothbrush is white distilled vinegar and scrub.

Nail polish remover works like magic.

My walls were white so I’ve used bleach and magic erasers .or maybe try some spic and span schools use spic and span getting crayon off walls and magic erasers

Depending on the type of paint, baby wipes or rubbing alcohol. If it’s “cheaper” paint it will come off with it.

I’ve never tried it, but I think I e heard use a blow dryer to melt it and it wipes off easier? Maybe… not personal experience. I do no claim it works. Lol

I used a hairdryer. It heats and melts the wax, then you just wipe off :grinning:

Main question is do you have FLAT or gloss paint?? The answer to that question makes a Hugh difference in what to use as flat paint strips easily

try a blow dryer over the crayon to get it melted then dip magic eraser in soap water or bleach water to wipe that spot you heated off.

Use a blow dryer. It’ll come right off

Blow dryer and a dry cloth

I’m not sure. If it’s an option maybe next time get the paint where it wipes off that’s what I bought. My kids constantly do stuff like that

Give them paper to color on!!!

If it’s semi gloss paint, WD-40. It melts right off. Don’t use it on flat painted walls because it’ll leave an oil stain.

Mix 2 parts baking soda, 2 parts dawn dish soap, 1 part peroxide. It should be a paste like consistency. Then place on a rag and rub over the crayon in a circle. It works like a charm with very little effort.

Hair dryer then wipe with damp paper towel

Just use a regular eraser. Always works for me then a quick wipe with whatever cleaner you use gets the scuffs off.

If magic eraser ain’t working try wd40
