You need a cleaner that is specific to enzymes. Natures miracle I think is the brand, they sell a urine destroyer at the pet stores. The enzymes are what causes the smell and if youā€™re not using something geared toward destroying the enzymes, nothing will work. Bleach, any heavy cleaners like that, they arenā€™t made to break down enzymes. Hereā€™s a pic of a great product to get.

Take the car seat apart and wash

Do the covers come off id put it through the washer and clean the seat separately

Gentle reminder that is very needed. 1 you cannot use harsh chemicals and harsh things like vinegar and things like that. 2 you need to read your carseat manual and follow the guidelines on how to properly clean your seat cover and car seat. 3. After following the correct way to clean your seat evennif its a gentle soap and a wipe down, set it out in the sun. The sun is a natural deodorizer.

Read your manual!! Anything not approved could render your car seat unsafe and should not be used. The smell will get out.

There is stuff you can order online called my pet peed. Itā€™s awesome. But I believe there is peroxide I. It so maybe try pouring peroxide on it?

Odoban, natureā€™s miracle, or vinegar.

Take the liner off, wash it? If not removable, Natureā€™s Miracle.

Read your car seat manual - it should tell you what to wash with and how to wash it.

Some comments on here are saying to use things that are not approved and can be super unsafe for car seats

You have to clean it how it says to in manual each car seat is different. But you canā€™t use chemicals itā€™s usually just wash with laundry detergent and air dry

Take the cover off and wash n the washing machine!

You might wanna ask a carseat safety group this question. A LOT of people are telling you unsafe information. Do not use ANY vinegar or baking soda on the seat. Use detergent with no bleaches or dyes. Cold water, gentle cycle, air dry (no dryer). The straps cannot get soaked. So just wipe those down with some water & the detergent using a wash cloth or something.

If you google what type of seat you have, itā€™ll pull up the manual for proper instructions

Canā€™t you just remove the liner and throw it in the wash ? Iā€™ve always washed them ā€¦

Honestly if the cover comes off, throw it in the washer and add a little vinegar along with the soap. Cold water. Vinegar will kill that dog pee odor.

BUT read what the car seat says to be safe.

i am earning every single day more than 500 Dollars from home by work online. Yesterday i got my 4th payment of prevlous month of $16540. i was surprised when one of my close frlend told me she was making $16735 per month but now i see how it works.

Check the manual for washing instructions. If you donā€™t still have it you should be able to find it online.

Iā€™d call the manufacturer and see what they recommend that is safe to use because you donā€™t want to risk harming the material and having it not function properly in the event of a crash.(weaked fabric can do more harm then people think).
And bonus, maybe the manufacturer will send you a new seat coverā€¦

Iā€™d try raking it off adding baking soda to the regular soap you wash laundry in and try that first. Otherwise the tried and true way I get out urine smells is soaking in peroxide, dish soap (dawn) and baking soda. I use the mixture for a lot of stains too. Even baby staining. I use it as a paste for that but for this it would more of a liquid and I donā€™t like to do it like that because thatā€™s a lot of peroxide going down the drain but if it gets out the smell then Iā€™d do it.

On Amazon. Itā€™s pricey but worth every penny. Wash the fabric with a vinegar/ Dawn dish soap/ hot water mix and spray it with this!! Iā€™m telling you, this is amazing stuff. If it can kill cat pee, the dog urine is easy peasy!

Take cover off put it on washing machine, dry and then put it back on. I donā€™t think your dog is mad about the baby . The dog is actually making her part of their pack. Itā€™s like a present to her.

Iā€™ve taken the cover off and washed it and air dry and Lysol wipe the underneath. My son had reflux so we washed his cover quiet a bit

I have no idea how to remedy that but Iā€™d definitely not let the dog be around the baby for second alone (which Iā€™m sure you donā€™t, please donā€™t take that as giving advice Iā€™m simply saying I personally wouldnā€™t do that)

All these people gonna make you ruin your carseat by cleaning it their way.

Donā€™t use anything that will scrub off the flame retardant of the carseat. Washing machine on handwash very very mild soap like dreft and let air dry is really the only way and absolutely get rid of that awful dog! We have a dog Iā€™m 7m pregnantā€¦let him try some Sh*t like thatā€¦ last thing he will ever do.

Youā€™ll have to refer to your carseat manual to see which way is safe to clean. Some donā€™t allow any products at all. Iā€™d buy a new seat if it was me as I can imagine the smell will still be there even after a wash and I wouldnā€™t allow babe to sit in that stink

Throw it out. Buy a new one lol

Using products and washing in a way that isnā€™t according to the car seat manual can damage the integrity of the fabric and compromise the safety of your child. Please contact the manufacturer

Look on the pad for cleaning instructions.
Most of them allow u was on warm delicate cycle with a little dawn soap. Air dry it.
DO NOT PUT IN DRYER .
Contact the company and see if they will send u a replacement cover or straps if u need it.

Take off the cover and toss it in the washer

First you should be able to just clean the car seat out take apart and throw in washer pressure wash or wash plastic frame in tube either works vaccine before you wash in tube for crumbs ect so you donā€™t clog drain if their are fries ect :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: second you need to be very very careful and aware of this dog this is very dangerous :warning::triangular_flag_on_post::triangular_flag_on_post::triangular_flag_on_post::triangular_flag_on_post: I had to actually get ride on my dog when my daughter was born because he kept sneaking under baby gates ect he would bite her hat off at first but then started moving to more aggression he was placed in a home with a close friend of mine where their was no kids and he lived a very very spoiled and happy life better then what I could give him once my daughter was born due to jealousy issues he wasnā€™t get everything he needed anymore because I had to keep them constantly separated ect !! But you can take the babies clothes ect and put them in dog kennel ect to get the dog use to babies smell they recommend this before baby comes home but some dog just donā€™t get over it and you have to be very very careful and aware of any warning signs from your pup !! I highly suggest you never leave this dog anywhere it has access to baby even in high chairs ect keep them completely separated unless you have the ability to pay attention a 100 percent !! When you do have time to monitor dog watch for warnings and triggers you can look these signs up online and YouTube dogs body language will be enought to know whatā€™s going on and then move on from their but again donā€™t leave dog alone with baby and always be careful with food kids and animals this can spell disaster take baby steps check for new food aggression in pup as well

Take car seat inserts out put in washer with a gentle detergent a table spoon of peroxide and a table spoon of pinoline. My mom would use that for construction workers clothes to get the sweat and durt smell out

Baking soda an white vinegar with blue dawn an pet odor carpet cleaner on bedding cycle deep clean in washer with extra rinse works an then you can run it thru once you no longer smell that with your normal washing soap an just allow it to air dry once its spinner enough in the washer with no excess water.

Take off the cover and throw it in the washer. I like to use Lysols additive. Their laundry sanitizer.

Canā€™t you just use regular detergent. Should come out if it just happened

Please look at your car seat manual or call the manufacturer. Each seat is different and some covers you cannot even machine wash. Make sure not to use any abrasive cleaners or submerge the straps.
