I had to get a reversal. I had my tubes cut and burned in 2008 after my 4th child. In 2018, I went to Louisville, KY to see Dr Levin and had a tubal reversal. 6 weeks later, we conceived our son, and I am currently pregnant with my 2nd reversal baby 
I have heard that tubes can grow back together but have never known anyone that it has happened to.

It depends on how the procedure was done but itās highly unlikely. You canāt āuntieā them naturally. Sometimes they will grow back together but thatās extremely unusual. If you want another baby after a tubal ligation, then you will need to see you OB/GYN about a reversal. And expect to pay out of pocket for it, as insurance typically does not. The chances of becoming pregnant after a tubal ligation are less than 1 in 100 and the risk is extremely high for ectopic pregnancy for those who do.

They donāt tie them anymore at the dr office I use they just remove them. I had mine removed this past March

The clip they used to tie my tubes with popped off I didnt think mush off it at the time till I went to the doctors sick as a dog and she did all the test including pregnancy tests and I was rushed to hospital and on my baby girl 1st birthday I went back to hospital and had the surgery redone but this time round full tube removed and touch wood nuffin has happened yet and itās been four years so it gos to show that it can happen and you can never be to careful
Have them cut and burned and you wonāt have to worry about it!
I had tubal ligation and a procedure to stop my periods, no pregnancies and no periods, life is good. BTW, I had 2 kids before all that.

Soā¦ My mom had my oldest brother and sister, had her tubes cut, burnt, AND tiedā¦ Ends up pregnant with my brother who had a twin that didnāt pass thru the fallopian tube, so she had the tube removed, then thenother one cut burnt and tied AGAINā¦ 5 years later and all her drs said NO CHANCE AT ALL TO EVER HAVE ANOTHER ONE, Iām born!!!

Itās highly unlikely and I challenge anyone that says they know ā a lotā of women that have. I had mine tied by a doctor that did it so reversal was possible so no cauterizing or removal of any of the tubes. Just general tying. Still had to go through a surgical repair and fertility help. That was VERY expensive. If you arenāt 1000% sure you are done, donāt get them tied.

It really depends on how itās done. Not many Dr tie them anymoreā¦ Mine were removed so no chance of getting pregnant. I did know someone who did a reverseal, it was painful.and ultimately had to do invitro to get pregnantā¦ Chances are slim

Tubes arenāt tied like people think. There are several methods, but they all get called the same thing.
You can have them severed & the ends cauterized.
Most are folded in half & then tied with a super strong ārubber bandā (thick & non degradable). In rare cases the bands can come off. My doctor warned me about it when I got mine done. Less than a 1% chance of it happening, but yes, it can happen.
Thereās also a slim chance of a tubal pregnancy - which arenāt viable & require surgery or they can be fatal.

Iām a gynaecologist. Itās very unlikely you will get pregnant after tubal ligation. So donāt have it unless you are 100 % sure your family is complete.

I just had mine untied the end of May and we just started trying. The dr said as healthy as I am and as easy as my tubes went back together that I have a really good chance of getting pregnant. The surgery was minimally invasive and I was back on my feet after a week or so. If you just had them tied or cut then you just have to weigh the chances. Each person is different. Good luck and lots of prayers if you you choose this for yourself!
I guess Iām just very unlucky. I got pregnant with my first child at 14 and then my second at 16. I got the IUD put in and then a few years later I got pregnant again two more times. Both times on the iud. My doctor told me I couldnāt use them anymore because I kept getting pregnant with them and they were having to take them out Everytime I got pregnant. After my fourth it was a fight with the doctors to get them tied because they said i was to young. I was 22 but I got them tied. Then I got pregnant with twins two years ago and after I got my tubes retied and then last year I got pregnant again, and then last month I found out I was pregnant with twins again.

I had mine tied though I did want to I was threatened into it but a few months back I had an egg come out after sex so Iām extremely hopefully I can get pregnant again
Sometimes the skin forms a new tube from regrowth around the ātied partā ā¦ generally the younger you have the procedure done the more likely it is for a new canal to happen ā¦ other than that its ivf or reversal ā¦ reversal has low percentage sucess rate tho
My tubes were removed. This was in 2019. I think they do it different so theres less of a chance of them growing back together. My cousin had a reversal about 15yrs ago and never had another baby. Id def talk to a fertility specialist. Maybe in vitro is a better option? Jmo.

My mom got pregnant with my little sister who is now 22 with tied tubes. If u dont get them cut, tied, and burned they can untie on there own at times. But everyone body is different

To get pregnant ānaturallyā after a tubal ligation your body would have to ācorrectā itself. Basically regenerate. Itās not impossible depending upon the specific method used for your procedure. Way back when they 1st started doing them there were several cases where this happened. Thus the procedure was perfected and now we see maybe. 1% failure rate if that.
I had a tubal ligation when I was 26. I already had 2 kids, my husband at the time was a full time student and the last thing I wanted was to be pregnant. Fast forward. Iām 30 and 2 years post divorce. I meet my mr. right. At 32 I had it reversed at 33 I had my #3 baby healthy perfect in every way. It had been quite a while since I had to worry about birth control I sort of spaced on it and 21 months later @ 35 gave birth to my #4 again the most perfectly exquisite baby girl ever born. I did opt fot a tubal once again. Mostly due to the last 2 being c-section deliveries. I donāt know if the reversal had anything to do with it or not. #3 was a difficult pregnancy. I was constipated from day 1 before I even knew I was pregnant. She was breach and that is what started my c-section adventures.

No you canāt magically untie your tubes however they could grow back together or depending on how your tubes are done I got mine clipped and they can fall off very small chance though

I had my what I had thought was tied and burned but found out 4 years later that they but one of those filshie clips on just one of my tube and there is now a recall on those but I did have a reversal done by an awesome doc a month ago so we will see what happens

I had my tubes clamped in 2018 after my 3rd son. And got pregnant had my 4th son this year. My clamp was still attached they have no ideal how I got pregnant. But know had my tubes completely removed. So I say anything is possible.
If you really have to ask that itās best not try to get pregnant. This question is concerning.
My mother had her tubes tied in 1990 and then in 97, 7 years later they failed and I was conceived lol. But times are A LOTTTT different now. That is extremely uncommon unless you go to the doctor and have a reversal.
