We keep our garbage cans in the garage… cause we live in a subdivision and don’t have somewhere outside to put them… we get massive amounts of flies in our garage sometimes and idk what to do. I clean the cans regularly. Any tips?

Get fly strips and hang them up!
Fly tape. Just don’t run into them and get them stuck in your hair 
Bought at Lowe’s :it’s a yellow strip (kinda hard plastic looking)& it lasts for a few months Not sticky but can’t remember name
Wash and clean, dry your trash cans and when done pour a box of salt in each one keeps it dry and fly free
I put garbage in a white trash bag, then when full, tie it up and put that in a heavier black trash bag before I put it in a trash can with a tight-fitting lid. Try spraying the bags with ammonia (Windex), peppermint oil or hot pepper spray too.
