Any tips on helping kids with strep?! My daughter’s miserable. She woke up w a high fever and belly ache but doesn’t have a sore throat (but doc said her throat is red) and she tested positive. But she has a headache and high fevers. Just started antibiotics today
Broth and Popsicles hopefully she feels better tomorrow
Alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen for fever and throat pain. Sugar-free Popsicles and plenty of fluids. She should be feeling better after about 24 hours of being on the antibiotics
Liquid acetaminophen, full fat cola with a straw, microwaveable friend (safer than a hot water bottle) for her tummy. I’d also recommend blankets on the sofa (couch) whilst watching a movie. There should be a marked improvement within 24 hours of the antibiotics starting. If you don’t see improvement within 36-48 hours, go back because some Strep is penicillin-resistant and needs different antibiotics.
Ice cream
Popsicles
Anything cold that she can easily swallow.
Children or infant Tylenol (you didn’t mention age)
Tea with honey
Tylenol , popsicles, rest. Freeze some Gatorade and with water- slushees! It will keep the child hydrated…
Gatorade jello popsicles and anything else she asks for. Also soups help of she will eat it
Truly, natural remedies do work. If they didn’t, we wouldn’t have used them for thousands of years. And, pharmaceutical companies wouldn’t be studying plants, taking extracts of them, and patenting them as drugs.this is not a claim or lies I was totally cured from hashimotos and neuropathy by Dr DAVID His remedy is surely the best. I suggest you try him out if you are having any health challenges and also get cured too, give him a try and also pass this message to save lives
