How to increase milk supply?

Hi mommies question.
So my baby is 6weeks old I stopped pumping and breast feeding 2 weeks ago. I’ve been giving my baby milk that I saved and froze. Well I almost out of what I had froze and I’m feeling so sad that I won’t have anymore . (I know stupid me) but is it even possible to get a supply back after 2 weeks. What can I do ?

Start nursing again and pumping between nursing sessions. Your body will produce again mama!!

It takes a lot longer than 2 weeks to completely dry up. Start latching your baby as much as possible and doing lots of skin to skin.

You can try and pump, and call your ob and see if they can help. There’s also herbals that can help, but I’m not sure what they’re called. Maybe fenogreek? I would just try and pump regularly and see if some will come.

Is there a reason you stopped? I would look up lactation recipes and start pumping and nursing again. Maybe try blue Gatorade as well

It is! You can try lactation cookies! I had a friend who stopped breastfeeding and was able to get her supply back after a month!! Goodluck💕

There is a Mother’s tea…you can get it on Amazon. I don’t know how well it may work - I’ve only heard about it. It may be worth a shot??

Pump and nurse and cuddle it can come back. Also try milky mama products

Yes. Pump… Start nursing.

Yes! Contact a lactation consultant as soon as possible. Pump to get flowing and latch. If no milk there are meds available. Baby will cry and get frustrated because flow is slow. But you can do it. Adoptive parents can breast feed.

Yes. Just start up again. It’ll be a small amount at first but will increase again and before you know it you’ll be back to full amount. :slightly_smiling_face:

Brewers yeast tablets

Nurse ans pump! Keep pumping even when theres notjing coming out. Pump for 10 mins. 10 min break. Pump 10 mins again. Another 10 min break. Over and over. Keep putting baby on the boob. Drink alot of water and eat alot of oatmeal and dairy!

Itll take a little time to get back to alot but youll get there!!!

Lots of good advice already. I also want to suggest finding your local la Leche League and start going to the meetings. They are free, and can help you with any and all issues along the way in your breastfeeding journey.
You can get it going again!
