How to lose weight?

Hello mamas. I just got my tubes tied and I’ve been told several different stories some about how hard weight loss is after and some about how they had no trouble losing weight after. Has any of you had your tubes tied and had issues losing the rest of the baby weight? If not, what’s some things that helped and worked for you? (Specific foods, exercises, etc) I’m 22, about to be 23. If that helps any. :relieved:

I’ve had 2 c sections and had no problem losing the baby weight, however I’m currently pregnant and going to have my 3rd c section and get my tubes tied… I’m curious if getting your tubes tied makes it harder or no difference.

Sorry it’s kind of unrelated, but what state are you in? I’m having my 2nd in Oct and want to get mine tied, but I’ve heard you have to be a certain age in some places, like 25??

My son was 5 when my tubes were tied. Never had an issue weight other what I had before. I had always dieted.

I had a tubal almost 13 years ago. I had no issues with weight gain or weight loss. Every bodies different so look into some simple cardio workouts on youtube to help with weight loss/muscle tonning and tummy tonning. They have some really good and simple workouts on there.

I had 2 c-sections and my tubes were taken out (they don’t tie them anymore - so I was told). This made no difference in my recovery or weight loss from my first to the second!

I just had mine done 3 months ago at 23 and have slowly lost weight. I haven’t made any changes to my lifestyle at all it just is slowly coming off by itself.

I have problems losing weight. I’ve had three c sections and I’m 30 years old. I’m very outdoor active in my free time but my job is sitting in front of a computer. I am also really involved with my daughter’s softball team.

By outdoor active I mean high adventure like hiking, canoeing, backpacking, rockwall and high ropes. I currently weigh 240, my peak being 270 after my last child 2 years ago.

I’m about to join an adult softball team to play, and a swim class in the mornings. Apparently my body needs more activity. I also don’t really watch what I eat, but I do eat a lot of veggies and protein. But I do like cake.

I had my tubes removed last March and had no issues losing the weight but my only issue is my stomach still looks pregnant. All my other births were natural and the belly went away as soon as baby was born but I can’t get rid of it this time. I do have other medical issues though so it’s a combination of everything i guess
