Let him go pee with daddy. My husband always peed with the door open when my son was that age. Then my son would go pee standing at the big toilet.

You CANNOT make or force him to if he isnt ready. You CAN try every trick in the book but if he isnt ready then NOTHING is going to work

My boys and many boys I know wasn’t trained until right around their 3rd birthday. It’s like it clicked at that age. When they are ready it’s so easy to do!

Take him with you (or dad) every time you go. Talk it up as a really big deal, offer small things for goals… A cookie, a small toy, you’ll eat out if he does ____ all week. And use underwear. Pull ups are great at night but they’re essentially diapers and not all kids bother. Use underwear but take him to the potty every 30mins for a bit.
Don’t punish accidents. He’s going to have them. Just reinforce using the bathroom and clean him up.
*before you start underwear or Pull Ups, make sure you’ve talked about using a potty so he’s not confused.

Float cheerios in toilet…he has to pee on them…a couple…" lets see you sink the cheerio "

I used the no clothes until child makes it to potty on their own. Slowly transition to adding shorts and lastly underwear as the are difficult to get down on time.

I used plastic underpants with my son at age 2. He would have accidents in his underwear while we were training. So I put him in his underwear and then plastic pants. We did that for about a week. He didnt like the feeling of being wet. After that week we switched to pullups for 1 week. Never had a middle of the night accident, and hasnt had another accident since. I tried letting him run around naked. He just pooped on the floor.:joy:

I had my first potty trained at 18 months, I’m not here to brag by any means but we lived in the country. Like middle of no flipping where. And he would follow MY dad around all that summer. (only father figure he had around 24/7, his dad was military and I was a 16 year old in school) but I told dad that when he sees me go he tries to go. So dad started peeing behind the chicken house or barn and Christian started doing it! Buy himself. The only problem was he thought he could do it when we went places. But after that summer was over, he started peeing in the toilet when my dad would. Maybe try letting him pee off the porch if your in a secluded area! My daughter started potty training at 2 and didnt become potty trained till she was 4. :see_no_evil: I currently have a 16 month old who will take his diaper off and pee in my floor from his crib. He wont do it anywhere else. So I am thinking of getting a baby urinal.

I wish I could help. We tried for months to potty train my son when he was 3. Nothing we did worked until my parents came to visit and I swear my dad had him trained in a day. It was magic. We now call him the “potty whisperer”

The way to get him in routine as soon as he wakes up take him to potty then take him often half hour or so get him a routine of going

Try putting underwear on under the diaper he won’t like the way it feels on his skin. This is how I trained my child with autism.

Time toliet every 30 minutes. Do the pee dance even if they is nothing just sing a sad version of it. How ssd the sewer man is not to be feed. Best advice is going with Dad have Das do pee dance once he goes. Take his chair every where with you so he knows he has his chair. If you use big toliet have step by it so his feet touch ground do a dance for poop to. He just might not be ready. Noght diapers is long time cut off liquid early in evening. Bladder is not all that big. You may have to get him up before you go to bed. He may not have feelings at night may still be to young. Keep with my 19 year old just got it this last couple weeks. So you are doing good job. I have done that naked it may work for you. For me poop of walls carpet floors pee everywhere and she has pica. Which means she eats everything including.

Way to early to start school

I bought mine a urinal off of amazon! He loves it!

i would check requirements my son is about to be 4 and just finished his first year of head-start but isnt fully potty trained yet (wasnt ready til recently) they helped with potty training they would take him potty with everyone else.

Dont put pull ups on him so when he doesn’t use it he pees on himself and you explain to him when you change him he is supposed to pee on the potty we just got my 3 yr old potty trained and that’s how I taught him

Belt him or her in it til they potty then give them praises.
