Does anyone own/operate a residential cleaning business? What are the pros/cons and is it profitable? Do you feel that it allows you to make your own hours so that you can be home for your kids during the week also?

My mom has her own cleaning business, a lot of her clients kept her after she left two maids and a mop. She’s done very well and her business is done by word of mouth, she never posts on Facebook. If I’m not mistaken her clients pick the day and if she isnt available that day they pick one that works for them both.
