It’s my first time flying but me and my 3 month old baby are flying out of the country in a week for a little vacation and I was just wondering if anyone had recommendations on what to take on the flight and all that good stuff.

Not rude but concerned why are you taking a 3 month old out the country? Before you go make sure your child has the shots they need and 3 months isn’t old enough for the measles which is spreading like wild fire in airports talk to your peds and get the ok before doing this just incase something were to happen please and be safe where ever u go once ur there

My #1 recommendation for flying with an infant is to try and wait to feed until take off. The baby will swallow to help avoid war pain much the way adults chew gum.

You aren’t even supposed to travel ouy of the state with your baby until they’ve had they’re first set of shots

This is my post.
Yes my baby got his shots at 2 months and I’ve spoke to his PD about it several times and he said that he would be okay to go.

If they have a pacifier. That works we took our daughter to South America. My husband lost one and paid the price all night.

Buy a plane seat for baby and put them in a car seat. Cosco Serena is a great, lightweight and inexpensive option- plus you can use it in the car when you arrive. Trust me, you do not want to hold your baby the entire time on the flight anyway. Nurse/bottle feed during take off and landing to ensure they can pop their ears. Also, babywear while at the airport.

Give your baby some Tylenol about 30 minutes before takeoff. It will help the pain in their ears if they don’t pop.
Also, have your baby suck a paci or drink a bottle. That will help their ears pop.
Take some toys your little one may be interested in as well.
I would wear your baby through the airport. It’s much easier than packing them in your arms.

Uh what and why?
3 month old u should be staying home enjoying the time with baby…not in another place
Stay home!! With all of the things that are happening in other countries!!
Make sure they are well fed, makes them sleepy. Pacifier is a must because of the change in altitude. Sucking stops the ears from hurting
