How to wean from breastfeeding?

My daughter is 10 months and breastfeeds on demand and takes bottles at daycare. She is very dependent on wanting to breastfeed throughout the night and will cry and cry if I don’t give it to her. How do I start the weaning process?? Should I pump and offer a bottle every time instead? She is also eating baby food 3 times a day, and I’ve been trying to introduce textured food but it makes her gag. I’ve loved our breastfeeding journey but this momma is so tired and (this sounds bad) but ready to have my own body back if that makes sense?

Try Bf before bed and bottle through the night. Is it the actual BF that shes wanting or the comfort of you being there?

My daughter fought giving it up to the point she would crawl into my bed at night and attach herself while I slept and she was 15 months old, it was a comfort thing for her by then. Just be persistent about cutting it short and offering juice or a snack if it’s not meal time and it will get through to her. Let her sit with you without nursing and just love on her so she knows you’re not pushing her away.

Following in the same boat w my 8mth old … i am about to return to work and would love to get her to cooperate so it isnt so hard on her dad when im not here … which he says she doesnt give him much of a problem if im not around
