I’m concerned our 4 month old might have something wrong with her: here’s the back story up until around Christmas she slept through the night and did excellent then all that changed. She went from getting up once a night to most nights now 5-6 times and my concerns come in from how much formula she drinks during those times! She eats between 6-8 ounces at bed and then 6 ounces every time she wakes up! She sees her dr in a few days for her checkup but I just think something doesn’t seem right! I feel likes she’s eating way more than normal at her age. Has anyone else had a baby that’s been like this?
Oh… Welcome to the 4 month sleep regression. It really sucks!
My 16 month old daughter does this still there will be weeks where she will sleep through the night and there’s time where she will wake up once or twice a night just for something to drink…babies as young as yours tend to go through a growth spurt every 2 weeks…and looks like you are right at about the 2 weeks mark…some growth spurts are more significant than others…completely normal…my second daughter was eating about 6oz every 3 hours when she was that age and doctors were never concerned and sometimes during the growth spurt they will eat more and once they are done with the spurt they will eat a little less…takes a lot for a baby to grow sounds completely normal don’t stress mama
Growth spurt, and possibly the 4 month mark cognitive development milestone. This is normal. Do not add food to her diet. No food until 6 months old as recommended by all of the top pediatric doctors. you are doing great momma. Keep it up. It will subside soon
Every baby is different just because she eats a lot does not mean something is wrong with her
She could be teething. Or growth spurt. I don’t think there is anything wrong with her
