I am stressed about what I should do

I am in college currently for phlebotomy but want to continue down the medical field. I am going to be starting medical assisting next semester. My ultimate goal is to become an RN. Can anyone on here give me advice on if it’s smart doing medical assisting if that’s not what I want to do long term? Should I just try getting into the LPN program instead?? TIA for every and anyone that can kinda help me figure out what I should do. I’ve been so STRESSED about this.

Go to be an RN they have programs for that why’re you doing all this other stuff. Go to nursing school school sign up today. It’s not hard at al it’s so many options in nursing

It depends on the school you are applying to for RN. I went through a community college for my ADN. So I did all my prerequisites first. Then took a CNA class for some experience because my first school of choice was merit based to get into the nursing program. So for them cna or lpn got the most points for experience. But it all depends on your preference. I didn’t want to come out of nursing school with student loans so I chose a community college. But if you are wanting a private school they have different requirements.

Find out which nursing schools are available to you. Research their graduates passing rate on the RN board test. Some schools aren’t very good. Hopefully you live where the schools have access to several hospitals, larger ones. Schools that don’t have this are limited to what they offer students.
Don’t waste time in CNA school or LPN programs.
