I am struggling to lose weight

Ok ladies! I can’t lose any weight after my second child. I am only gaining, and it’s frustrating because I am more active now and eat healthier. My question is has anyone tried the GLP-1 shots and it has worked. And also has a liable website to buy from ? TIA

Have you tried daily affirmations to love yourself and your body? Do a 30 day challenge to see if that helps
Or a light work out?
The fact that you are willing to take a medication specifically for an actual medical condition/issue is a bit concerning

I have been on wegovy for 5 months and have lost 40lbs. My Dr started at very lowest dose and increased every month. I am on 1.7mg but don’t want to go to the last dosage cause I’m still losing. It’s slower but still working

The only real way to lose weight and keep it off is to burn more calories than you eat. The best way is a calorie deficit or intermittent fasting.

Are you on any new medications? Birth control? Have your thyroid checked? Could be a lot of things if you’re actually working hard to lose it and you’re not.

Ask your doctor to do a workup and medication review to see if there’s a medical reason. Get your thyroid and hormone levels checked too.

Your body may have reached a set point/plateau and is holding onto calories for now. Keep at it, and ask trainers the most effective exercises for losing inches. Diet to lose weight, exercise to lose inches. Ask a dietitian about the best times & food combinations to eat for best weight loss results.

If you’re building muscle, it’s heavier than fat, so you may be losing but the scale isn’t showing as much loss, though your figure is.

Keep at it. It takes a lifetime lifestyle change to make a difference. Are you heading into menopause? That can add pounds and shrink muscle. Going to bed a little hungry is fine. Have something healthy ready for breakfast in the morning.

Birth changes your body for good. Your breast tissue changes, your skin may be permanently stretched out, your stomach muscles may have moved to the side (takes surgery to fix), your hips may be permanently pushed out (more likely if you had a girl).

Breastfeeding took off a fair amount of pounds, but I had to drink a ton of water constantly, which probably kept me from drinking more caloric beverages. If I drank constantly all morning at work, I could pump 2 bottles full in 15-20 minutes at lunch using a pump on each breast.

Good luck! It took 9 months to have a baby, it’ll take 9 months to get most of your body back.

Eat less, move more in form of exercise, write down what u eat. X

Intermittent fasting for sure.

Intermittent fasting, healthier food choices and adequate exercise has been a game changer for me. It doesn’t work for everybody but for me it has and I recommend trying it out for yourself

I’ve lost 140lbs by eating less and moving more.

Totally online weight management consultation and meds.

Tell her Debbie Williams sent you.

I’ve known a few ladies that took the shots. They lost plenty of weight, but as with moth “quick fixes” they put more on after they stopped taking them! I lost almost 80lbs, in less than a year, with Advocare (starter in 2015) & have kept most of it off. I started with the 24 day challenge.

Look up the long term side effects. Those medi actions cause a lot of harm. If you bare concerned about your weight ask your doctor to look into the cause. Hormonal imbalances, thyroid issues, adrenal issues, another pregnancy are among hundreds of things that can cause weight gain.

I’ve lost weight very steadily and kept it off by controlling my carbs. Having a set number for meals and snacks, actually very similar to what is recommended for diabetes. As diabetes is prevalent in my family, I have seen this work for many of them as well.
