Dont give him the choice. Keep taking him back to the bathroom. Don’t offer alternatives like pull ups etc, he clearly knows what to do and what its for…

Youre the parent, teach him that it’s not a choice to use toilet at school and pee his pants at home. Hes a big boy now

I never bought potty, always bathroom

For my son, we had a little step stool in the bathroom for him to stand on. The toilet was too high.

He needs some harsh punishment. 4 is way too old to not be potty trained - and he knows what to do. You need to explain this is not acceptable, and what will happen if he doesn’t start complying. This should have been done LONG AGO.

Our home toilets aren’t small like theirs at school. Have you seen how low those toilets are at the school. So get a step stool and remember their little toilet seats are smaller than our normal size ones so get a toilet seat for kids. That should help

He may be scared going on the big toilet at home. Maybe get a step stool so it’s easier to reach or a potty seat with a smaller opening to put on top of your regular one

My daughter bought a potty watch, so every time it goes off,we take her potty. You can set it for different times.

Each time she goes, she gets to put her favorite sticker on her chart. There are surprise gifts she gets when she has gone so many times on the potty.

Bribe him with something he really wants.

Just be patient. He’ll be ready pretty soon, don’t worry. He is just looking for comfort at home.

Don’t listen to the psychos hitting their kids for going to the bathroom. Seriously? You people are beyond weird and your kids will end up cutting your toxic selves off. SMH. You don’t hit a child because it wanted to go.
