I constantly feel drained...advice?

Has anyone had any experience with the constant drained energy feeling after a total hysterectomy?? I’m a month postpartum and I literally have 0 energy from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed, I feel so drained all the time now…

That’s a big surgery, it will probably take a long time to feel better. It’s only been a month, I’d give it time. But you can always get bloodwork done and get all your levels checked.

Ask for a blood test to check iron and thyroids both create those symptoms

it takes way longer than a month to get over the surgery, for me it was at least 3 months if not longer. The other thing to consider and talk to your dr about is that you will go into instant menopause after a total hysterectomy and tiredness, brain fog and just feeling run down can be a major part of menopause as hormone levels drop. If you arent on any form of HRT it might be that you need some form to help balance out the instant drop

Normal to feel that way you might need to get your estrogen levels checks and start taking supplements

12 years since mine and I still feel that way. I go to the Dr.they say nothing wrong so I just live with it
