I feel like I have constant BO...advice?

Ever since having kids, I feel like I cannot combat my under arm smell. I’ve tried every “clinical strength” deodorant and sometimes it’ll work for a couple days, then goes right back to smelling bad. I’m small framed, heavy lift 5 days a week, eat healthy, drink minimum 64oz of water a day. What can I do?!

Sounds crazy but limes help with body odor! Just rub it on your armpit, it might sting at first though

Do you get any itching or rash under your arms ?
It could be a bacterial issue causing the odour. I would speak to your doctor about it just incase. There may be a topical cream to clear up the issue, if that’s the case

I saw something the other day that bar soap is supposed to prevent this from happening!

Lume deodorant is the only thing that works for me.

But bring it up to your doctor. Depending if you just had a baby…it might be your hormones regulating.

Men’s Rexona highly recommend

Get new shirts. Especially if they’re tighter. The more you wear them the more they will smell like bo even if you wash them

Google armpit detox. You can mix baking soda and apple cider vinegar into a paste and apply it once a week for 20 minutes.

The only thing that helped me was laser hair removal. Since doing it, I have ZERO issue!!

Antibacterial shower soap.

If you are around the age of 35, it could be perimenpause

I would speak to your doctor. Make sure you don’t have a chemical imbalance or something else.

I agree it’s not normal, could be a fungal thing especially if it happened over summer. Or over hydration?

Natural deodorant that has baking soda in it.
Actually here’s a simple recipe… quarter cup organic baking soda…qaurter cup arrow root powder ( you can even use corn starch)…add coconut oil…add essential oils…lavender…whatever you like…mix really well until its all blended and soft.
You’ll never smell. Ever. Store brand deodorants Actually make you smell worse.
I actually make organic Deodorant…I didn’t give you my recipe…because I sell it…but that’s a really good basic one that works well.

Make a paste with bentonite clay and apply. Leave for five-15 minutes and rinse off

I was too for a while. Have you tried deodorant supplements like ‘It Just Works’? Also spraying your armpits with an alcohol based perfume before deodorant kills any bacteria that linger. Some deodorants are very hard to wash away then hold on to soap so you have to scrub with a wash cloth and non moisturizing soap to get residue off. When they say it lasts for 24+hours they usually do leave residue. Just be sure to use a moisturizing deodorant if you go that route. The things you learn when you have teenagers :joy:

I would speak to your gp
Just Incase it’s a medical issue

Magnesium and vitamin D deficiency. Take supplements. Do your research on what magnesium to take.

Try the wild brand roll on or the fussy brand roll on since having my son 3 years ago I’ve been struggling with sweating and smelling and I’ve been using fussy and wild for a few months now and it’s really worked and took it away instead of using products 4 times a day I’m using it once in the morning and that’s it

Men’s deodorant is all that works for me. And I know you are thinking I don’t want to smell like a man. Get old spice wilderness deoderant. Smells so good. It has all that I have found to work. Also, I have my daughter and Dad using it bc we all have this issue. It has cleared it up for all 3 of us. I still smell it when I take a shower the next morning

An antibacterial soap and I find mens deodorant works so much better. Hormones change greatly after having kids. I’d also maybe get some blood work done just to rule out any medical issues

I’m the same. Most all natural deodorants made me smell worse!! I would start with why you smell, if you dont find out the cause or the why, it will be hard to fix the problem?? Start with your dr. …I would have bloodwork done to see if your hormones are off, thyroid, or even diabetes can make you smell/sweat. I found out my thyroid was off & pre diabetic.

Ive tried lume and it did nothing for me, clinical strength didnt either. I actually found a natural one, the brand is humble. For some weird reason this one works for me but the others havent!

See your gyno - it could be a hormonal/PH imbalance.

Change soaps. Wash clothes and bras thoroughly.

Are you using just deodorant…bc you need an antiperspirant AND deodorant (in one). Are you wearing cotton shirts? I have to or I can have an issue too.

That lume cream all over body deodorant works well. Toasted coconut smells nice. Native brand works nicely too. I like the variation of scents.

Lume! But it’s just a deodorant so I use it with my secret deodorant and antiperspirant. I use the unscented lume with my scented secret.

Try an antiperspirant instead of deodorant. Also determine if it’s stress sweat or actual bo.
