I had an ultrasound to confirm my pregnancy but the blood test was negative....advice?

So I posted a bit ago … yesterday I had an ultrasound and the doctor said I was measuring about 4 weeks or so. I do have some symptoms and she said she saw a visible sac in my uterus …. The thing is my blood test came back negative. Has anyone had this happen?

4 weeks a home test would be positive. All three of mine were by that time

I would have them retest and def make a follow up appt which they prob already scheduled? But sooner if symptoms change at all. Good luck sweetie

Yes, I was pregnant and blood test came out negative. If they’re is a sac wait couple weeks for the heart beat to show on the ultrasound.

Blood or urine? Urine test should be done on a first morning specimen. On either case, it may be too soon for a positive test. Test again in a few days.

Too soon - surprise the doctor did an ultrasound

So I was told by my dr that it has to be at a certain level for an at home test to show positive but the blood test should show some level with it being early I would just have them retest your levels once a week to make sure your levels are going up and see a dr that deals with high risk pregnancies because they will more likely know what is going on rather than a dr who has never seen something like this and has no answers for u

I didn’t test positive with my first until I was 11 weeks try to stay calm it’s early so that’s prob why

Might be too early for the test to pick up the pregnancy hormones

Get re-tested in 3-4 weeks, you are too early

I had a urine test come up positive, but blood test come back with a very low HCH level. They had me come back in and retest every 2-3 days to make sure the levels were continuing to rise. I was a basket case for that week or so. My daughter is now a healthy 12 year old.

It happened with both my kids They came out healthy
