Can you post this anonymously? I’m 19 and just found out I was pregnant. The thing is, I have a uterine anomaly ( my uterus is kind of divided and split ). My doctor said that I would most likely miscarry due to the baby not receiving enough oxygen or blood supply. I also have PCOS. My ex-boyfriend and I had unprotected sex for ten months, and I didn’t get pregnant. The first time I had sex with the new guy, the test came up positive three weeks later. Is there anything I can do to have a healthy pregnancy and try to keep my baby alive?

Let be what will be. Your body makes the decisions and there isn’t much you can do. You can do things to ease your mind but in reality the body decides. Maybe see a specialist if you are able.

As a M/B RN, we have had several moms delivery very healthy babies & they have a split uterus. You need to see a OB/GYN & have good prenatal care.

I have a heart shaped uterus with a wall dividing it in half. My babies can only grow in half of it. I have two healthy kids both had to come early due to it but they are just fine

Have your obgyn get you intouch with a maternal fetal specialist
I have a bicornuate uterus (it’s heart shaped). We were surprised I got pregnant and that I’ve carried her this far (I’m 28 weeks). Your body will do what it wants at the end of the day, but the best advice I could give you is to do everything you can to keep yourself and your baby healthy. Take prenatals, good prenatal care, drink lots of water, eat right and make sure you + baby are both getting the nutrients you need, and don’t be afraid to reach out to your doctor when something feels “off”, if you have any questions or concerns, etc. Hugs! 
I have a heart shaped uterus and two very healthy baby girls. They both came a few weeks early because they could only grow on one side. But it can still happen. I found an ob that deals with high risks pregnancies.
I also have a heart shaped uterus. You need an ob that specializes in this. My orginal ob that diagnosed me with it, had ZERO clue what it was.
My oldest ( soon to be 23) was early at 31 wks. My youngest ( 17) was fullterm. I had wkly ultrasounds checking my cervix.

I don’t have the uterus problem, but I do have PCOS. So I understand the pregnancy part. Ask them to check your progesterone levels, it is something us ladies with PCOS lack. And congrats! Tomorrow I will be 9 weeks pregnant after EIGHT years of having my last kid. Try to stay positive.
My obgyn told me that I couldn’t get pregnant, for a couple of different reasons, and I now have 2 daughters (13 years apart). I did have several miscarriages as well, which never get any less painful, but sometimes doctors can be wrong. Make sure you get good prenatal care, and take care of yourself, and if it is meant to be, it will be.
I have unicorniate uterus and had endo. I now am pregnant with my 4th.
Make an appointment with a high risk doctor
My sister in law had the same issue and now has 2 beautiful babies. It was hard the first pregnancy but she made it and so can you!

Your best bet is to see a high risk prenatal dr . the sooner the better they will closely monitor your pregnancy . best of luck
