I unfortunately have to have surgery for an ovarian cyst . Not sure when it’s going to be yet I have to wait until the scheduler calls me . But my fiancé works 40 hours a week so he works 5 days a week. He said most likely on a Friday . I’m nervous because he needs a month off in advance to request any days off . And he said he is not taking any days off for me ?? Like what ? We have a 2 year old together . I can’t lift anything for about a month is what I’m thinking . I’m also a cashier so I’m on my feet all day . I’m not sure how long I’ll be out of work . He’s worried about money which I am to . But it’s not my fault .

You will need him or someone else to take care of you especially that day . Maybe your mom or MIL can come ?

This is not a person you need to marry. He is showing you now that he is not your partner. Find someone to take you to your surgery, then find a new boyfriend.
6 months after my daughter was born, I had an emergency ovarian torsion surgery. It was a long road to recover from nature child birth and almost losing an ovary. 
What about applying for long term disability to help with finances?
