Hello! I have a question for the group! So I was recently told by my Gynecologist that I have BV. I took my antibiotics and she suggested to start taking probiotics. She said it’s because there’s a chance that I’ll get BV continuously. What kind do I get? Or what can I do?

Don’t wash your vagina with soap at all. Only wash with wet towel with nothing on it. Wash your butt with soap but not your vagina. Also do not allow anyone to ejaculate in you always pee after sex it’s an absolute must.
Do you have birth control? When I was on Mirena years ago, I kept getting it. Once I got it removed, I never got it again.

Acidophilus you can get supplements but it’s also found in alot of foods we eat.google a list.

The antibiotics they give for bv always give me a yeast infection. I started using boric acid to treat bv, yeast and haven’t had bv in 2 years and I used to get it atleast once a year. I swear by boric acid.they have some many on Amazon. Just read some of the reviews so many women swearing by them

I use to get BV back to back, stayed on antibiotics for months on end. I ended up changing my detergent to baby detergent and using Dove sensitive bar soap for the lady bits. So far I haven’t had it. Knock on wood

Eat a low-yeast diet, take acidophilus & drink lots of water.
Use condoms with your partner and have them treated as well! I kept getting it for about 2 years and I did this and began washing with ONLY water and I haven’t had it in well over 6 years now, thank God
Use boric acid suppositories, and monistat mags a feminine wash that’s fragrance free and had boric acid in it as well. I haven’t had an issue once I started doing this. I get both at Walmart.

Watch what kind of soap you’re using. I used to use summers eve because the commercials say it’s for your “V” right well turns out it throws off your whole ph balance and is actually very bad for your “V”! My doctor recommended dove and that helped me tremendously. I was constantly getting yeast infections until I changed to dove.
Could be that your partner isn’t cleaning properly . Or multiple partners .
