Just out of curiosity does anyone know if kids who have been diagnosed since birth with TS can get checks? A family member asked if I’ve tried getting SSI or any type of “disability” check for my daughter with TS. Is this possible?

SSI for children with disabilities is a thing, yes. But I’m not sure what TS is. Contact your local office for the most accurate information.
Depending on your income of the household which includes everyone over the age of 18 in the house. It doesn’t matter the disability your filing for if you surpass what they consider “too much money” but you should always ask if you qualify. You might not get ssi but still be able to get benefits with medicaid which helps if you end up needing items for care and therapies.
Getting disability doesn’t go by income. You can apply online. Doesn’t hurt to try.
Depends on the severity of it, best bet is to just apply and they will send you to there own doctor to determine
