I got abnormal pap results, my doctor wants to do a biopsy of the cervix. I had one done a long time ago and remember it hurting really bad and being very uncomfortable. Has anyone had a cervical biopsy recently? I’m wondering how painful it was for you, and did they give you anything for the pain? Were the pain meds helpful?All reactions:

It’s uncomfortable. The lemon juice they use( my Dr anyways) stings.
Excruciating. Find a doc that will use lidocaine
