Absolutely one of the worst cars out there. They have a crappy engine and are known to have catalytic converter issues.

If its a manual transmission I’d so go for it but if it’s not I wouldn’t. I’ve heard nothing but bad about the automatics

Don’t buy it…they are not good cars…AC issues and transmissions issues

No. Absolutely not. My boyfriend had nothing but problems. Engine went at 49k miles.

They’re crap cars. My sister had one and it was constantly in the shop due to engine issues.

I have had 2. Loved the 2014 cruze , lady hit me and it was totaled. I now have 2016 cruze, not as good as 2014. Had to do some repairs that I thought was to early.

We have a ‘17 Cruze and it’s a piece of shit. Had to have new engine and turbo less than 70k miles

Nope. I have one now and it’s issue after issue.

Chevy’s worst car out there. Make sure you get a good pair of sneakers too. You’ll need them.

I’ve had 2 manual transmission Chevy Cruzes. I really liked them. I got rid of them once I had children. They’re definitely not good for someone with 3 kiddos. It’s not spacious by any means — back seat & trunk space is not fantastic.

Daughter had nothing but problems with her 2012.

Everyone that I’ve known that’s had one says they hate it and that the car constantly has issues. Personally I loved my Chevy Malibu.
I now have a Jeep Cherokee

I love my Chevy Cruz. I’ve had it for quite some time now and only have one payment left on it. It’s got a lot of miles on it now and she’s still going strong!

I had a car lot just yesterday tell me he didn’t recommend it!

I adored mine when I was not a mom, despised it once I had a car seat. But if it’s your best option you’ll make do

Loved the one my dad had. 2019 model.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars because of constant repairs on P0171 and 0420 codes:sob::sob::sob:

Did your sister tell you why she is getting rid of it? Ask her to please be honest.

I think they are I am more of a Chevy person also but I was told any vehicle is good it’s the matter how you treat it like reg oil change and so on

Yes I had one. Very safe car, when we got in an accident.

Nope problem after problem and my best friend had the same issue! If you get it sale or trade it in!

I had one for years. though the dealership lied. With in 2 months the motor blew, wouldn’t start, every indicator went off, over heated and took the dealership 4 months to “fix” which they didn’t fully fix. Motor they replaced was bad within weeks. Spent almost 9 thousands dollars fixing it in a two year period.

Like everyone says, theyr not great cars and definitely if you need it to get to work get something else. A deal isn’t a deal if you have to constantly sink money into it if you know what I mean.

No, do not recommend. Mine kept having electrical issues and it was a 2020

Weve put 75k on our 2018 in the past 2.5 years with no issues. We’ve only had to do oil changes

No don’t do it I had one and it would always be messing up on me!

A lot of transmission issues

My husband had one just check what your insurance is

Absolutely not. I do not recommend this car at all. I currently have a Chevy Cruze and it was the biggest mistake. I have had several coolant leaks that caused other massive issues. Engine issues… issues with my gas tank. It’s been nothing but never ending problems since I purchased it. I have spent over $9,000 in repairs. That’s more than what the car is even worth at this point.

The only thing I can say about it, is that I got into a head on collision and came out with minimal damage to my bumper. With that being said, all the other issues make it not worth it at all. It is an awful car and I would stay away and find something different.

I had one and had no problems, though it was too small for my new baby & 2 older kids.

No. Absolute horror of a car. Wouldn’t own one again.

I love Chevy’s but loath the Cruz! It’s sooo hard to see and the blind spots are insane in it. I didn’t feel safe driving it. Get a trailblazer! I just changed the water pump myself and it only cost $80. I just recently traded a Malibu and it’s even two small for one car seat and a teenager

I have 2 of them a 2014 rs bought bran new in 2014 and the turbo has always went in it it has been fixed 3 times and currently on a 4th time now and my other one is the head gasket and honestly they are a money pit down and a headache a big one. We will never own them again and we are big Chevy fans but looking more into a GMC Acadia or terrain now and we have 3 kids to which need room to ride. If you can get something else get something else is my advice.
