Is brown spotting normal while pregnant?

I’m currently 14 weeks and woke up to brown spotting this didn’t happen in my first pregnancy and I’m waiting on a call back from the doctor but can anyone help ease my mind

if it’s early it’s probably nothing but I would definitely get checked. I had bad experiences with brown blood

I spotted the first 3 months. This is my second pregnancy and I’m now 37 weeks. I think you’re ok

i’m not a doctor but i’m pretty sure brown blood is old blood and it can happen and everything is still okay and baby is fine but definitely get checked out and make sure!

It’s old blood however always get checked out because rather be safe than sorry. My 1st daughter irritated my cervix and I spotted on and off all 38 weeks of pregnancy

I had a bleed and its quite common, as its brown it’s old blood, bright red is the stuff to be worried about. I hope the doctor or midwife calls you soon to get everything checked out.

From personally experience I’d always get checked just in case to have that piece of mind

Most of the time brown blood is old blood but always get checked out by a doctor for any bleeding in pregnancy. In my first pregnancy I bleed about 5 times very lightly and got checked both time. In my current pregnancy I had a heavy bleed at 8/9weeks got it cheeked and I had a hematoma and a couple of weeks later I bled lightly again and that was just an irrational to my cervix. Always get checked it’s better to be safer than sorry!

not " normal" not uncommon by any means either tho

If you don’t mind me being rude have you recently had sex? Only because when I was carrying my daughter I had about 4 or 5 bleeds first was at 10 weeks, then I had another bleed at 21 weeks and a really big bleed at 26 weeks all which was connected to having sex so midwife just suggested we stopped until baby was born otherwise I’d be back and forth to hospital xxx
