yes, it can, my son is 16 now and sometimes it still hurts as much as it did in the beginning
I have numbness in mine two years on. I think it is different from person to person
Your weight having something with it is highly plausible! There are & layers of muscle that had to be stitched. #letthatsinkin
My c section scare is kind of numb no pain! My baby is 20
Yes, mine still hurts. C sections in 1974, 1981,1983, 1985, and 1987. Then hysterectomy in 1989.

I still have my C-Section scar. O am alittle over weight. But then I did have a big baby boy
I have some discomfort from it. The thing I hate the worst is the burning rash and the smell from it.
I thought for sure it would have healed by now. My son is 29 yrs old. I put baby powder on it. It does help alot.
You should go have your self checkout.
Scar release therapy
I still have huge numb spots around the incision and still get quite a lot of pain at the scar and my youngest baby is about to be 3
Nerve endings often peak toward the surface when referring to human tissue scarring. In combination with its positioning and being bigger it’s likely applying enough pressure to cause irritation consistently
I had one in 2005 and another in 2006. Never had any pain beyond the initial recovery.
Not ‘bragging’ or being a jerk. Just a different experience.
I had built up scare tissue. The area is numb. Been that way since my 3rd C section and my youngest is 20. Every now and again it hurts but it’s more of a numb feeling.
14 years later,i’m not big. Mine is nerve damage and will never get better
It’s scar tissue.
Scurvy eats away at scar tissue, but vitamin C fights that.
However vitamin C also starts to correct the scar tissue also.
Maybe a boost?
Had C Section 25 years ago and still have pain.
It’s scar tissue. Massage techniques can help alleviate the pain and break up the tissue.
16 yrs later and itches at times.
Lots of scar tissues
Don’t apply pressure!!!
I had 3 c sections… Thry are now 26 25 23…1 had 2 c sections in the same year. I’m ok… Minor aches in cold seasons
Mine mainly gets itchy and a random pain. My son will be 21
The hard area is scar tissue. I’ve had two csections and always had a pain and sensitivity here and there. My first was almost 6 yrs ago
No…ive had 3 and a hysterectomy
I still have pain in certain areas when pressure is applied
My lo is 6 almost 7, and my scar still hurts when I have too much food, or too much work out, or when it has lightning & thunder. If there’s a hard part on your stomach, I think you should have it checked, that is not normal.
Yes. Scar tissue pulls…it gets really itchy sometimes…
But if you have a lump when you can get checked could be a hernia
4 csections here. Last one was 11 years ago. Still painful.
I’ve have 2 C-sections and mine still hurts occasionally. I was told it’s just nerve damage.
Yes it’s normal. I’ve had two c sections and my kids are 9 and 6. It’s scar tissue.
I’ve spoken to many ladies and met many who still have c section pain/stinging/burning 40 years later (an older nurse of her own experience) I definitely still have pain 2 years later
I’ve had 2 c sections. I have a 4yo & a 3yo.
My scar and the bottom of my stomach, starting from under my belly button always hurts so bad! Still can’t push on it or barely touch it cause it hurts! You’re not alone.
I had a emergency c-section almost 11 years ago pain wore off after a while but the numbness remained, hope your feeling better soon
My son is 7 n i still feel numb on my scar ! I put some cbd cream n it kinda kinda helps me to forget till i touch or do a move to fast ! I asked my doctor n i gueas that totally normal ! So till maybe u get some of work done then maybe ! But im cool ! Dont worry be happy
Had my last C Section 6yrs ago and I can’tfeel anything below my belly button and do have the occasional burning sensation and sharp pain
I had surgery thru a c section type scar. That was almost 5 years ago. I’ve got adhesions and if my ibs is playing up, it’s painful
I have a gallbladder scar from years ago along with other scars. They really bother me a lot sometimes. My dr said they will need surgery to remove scar tissue but that will only make more scar tissue so avoid it as long as possible. I notice the pain from all the tum area surgeries flares up when I do a lot of strenuous stuff. Even working out can cause the pulling which leads to the pain. I take an over the counter pain reliever like Tylenol or headache powders and it take the pain down. I also stop doing whatever I did to piss it off. As long as i know the problem won’t kill me I’ll put off another surgery that will eventually cause more pain.
My son is 8 and still have pain and pulling in my c section scar.
My youngest is 8 i still have pain on my right side randomly if i lay a certain way.
Mine still is my kids are 1 and 2
Maybe you have adhesions.
