Is having a VBAC safe?

Is having a vbac actually safe? I am freaking out but really do not want a c-section

Only your OB who knows your history and the reasons behind your first c section can answer that …

I’ve had 3 successful VBAC’s after my c-section.

It depends on your medical history and your body. Your OBGYN would be the one to ask if a VBAC is safe or not as well as potential risks

My first was cesarean. 23 months later I had a successful V back. Then 13 years later another cesarean.

Hey!
So first : off always talk to your obgyn or midwife!
Second : I was deathly afraid of having another c section as well my first was an emergency she’s now four & that’s why I was so scared to have another one!! my original doctor wouldn’t do it with me but sent me to another who said I was the perfect candidate for the vbac only down fall was the closest hospital to me that would allow me to do one was an hour away! I was sent home twice in active labor being told I wasn’t in active labor & literally got out of the car long enough to let my boyfriend use the bathroom & made him take me right but we didn’t make it to that hospital I was already 5/6cm dilated & ended up going to the one closer to us & they wouldn’t let me unless I was crowing but even the nurses agreed with me that I wouldn’t of made it to the other hospital.
Third : it was a complete different experience for me I knew what I was going into & was back on my feet sooner than the first one I had!
Even tho I begged them to knock me out because I was knocked out with my first I was awake & had the choice to even watch which I didn’t I was already freaked out as it was lol!
Best of luck & sending good vibes your way!
