Is it normal for an infant to snore?? Or should I be worried?
It depends. Is the baby’s mouth open while sleeping? That can be a cause for concern.
My baby did. That’s is why I moved her from the bassinet next to me to her crib in her own room. Her snoring kept me up. She is now a healthy 15 year old.
It depends on what u mean by snoring……actual snoring no it’s not normal. my son snored also he was also a super light sleeper. I didn’t really think much of it until he was 4 and started school. He started getting colds a lot which cause ear infections almost immediately. When we went to ENT they asked about snoring and his sleeping. I told them he’s snored always since he was born. The doc looked at me crazy and immediately checked his nose. He said his adenoids where much bigger then normal which happens but it causes shall breathing during sleep which in turns makes the child not sleep well even if they seam like they are sleeping ok they are not getting good quality sleep do to not getting enough air. Id mention it to the pediatrician and ask if a referral to ENT might be necessary.
My son got his tonsils out because they were big and he snored… The ENT told me snoring for kids is not normal.
