So my son here lately has been busting out crying hysterically (example we was watching Mulan and the scene right after the match maker yelled at her he just starts crying such truly sad tears)… Hes 2 and I’ve been around a few toddlers and never have I seen such complete empathy … it’s so sweet and at the same time heart breaking to see my rough and tough little man break down… I changed the movie right away… I don’t want him to feel sad… Any advice? Im a FTM is this normal for them to feel that deep of a emotion just from watching TV or movies… it’s happened a few other times… He also cracks up laughing watching telatubbies and other YouTube videos… Btw not complaining
Help a mama out and respond anonymously on our forum. Is it normal for my toddler to have so many emotions during movies?
Quit calling him a TOUGH little man, let him show his emotions, don’t stifle him, it’s ok…
My son once laughed at the scene of mufasa dying but later when he was older watched a movie where the dog died we both cried alot and my daughter once cried listening to twinkle twinkle little star when she was little.
There is a show called Waffle the Wonder dog and my son would cry when they sang the theme song, it was a happy catchy song but he would just cry and drop his bottom lip.
I think it’s normal I’m a ftm too but I remember crying to the theme song of Pokémon when I was little lol
My daughter would do that when she listened to twinkle twinkle little star lol
He’s just emotional. That’s perfectly normal to be tuned into emotions. Don’t make him feel bad for showing them. It’s ok to not always be a tough boy. He’s tough for expressing himself
hes empathetic! its sad but a good thing
Overstimulated probably .
Let him feel his feelings and finish the movies he reacts to…
Why do you suppose this child does this?? Are you that dense?? NO CHILD SHOULD HAVE TO WATCH SCAREY PICTURES!! THATS WHY WE HAVE A WORLD OF HATRED A MALADJUSTED PEOPLE TODAY!! THERES ARE NO WORDS TO TELL YOU THAT YOUR BRAIN WILL COMPREHEND!!
