Insurance agencies are hiring adjusters like crazy right now. I just started training this week and will be work from home permanently. I also have a 7 year old and Iā€™ll be able to get her on and off the bus. And can still nurse my baby.

Try the school itself. Many are looking for lunch or recess aides.

I started working at our local pre school. Typical shift for me (that fits in your schedule) is 8:45-1:15

Look up Spelthorne jobs catering always looking for kitchen staff Twelve15

See if their school is hiring subs, or in the lunchroom. Thatā€™s what I do. That way when kids are off Iā€™m off.

I agree about getting in to the school systemā€¦ that way youā€™re off when your kids are off.

Work for the school system  that way you have the same schedule as your kiddos and are a part of an employer group with a very unique personal understanding of the need to leave if youā€™re child gets sick. :heavy_heart_exclamation:

Honestly Iā€™d look into bus driving. Thatā€™s what I decided to do so I could work with my kods schedule. And if you work for the company that has a contract with your school your kids could go on the bus with you.

Go on Indeed. Look for jobs you can do at home. Using a computer and phone

School bus driver or school bus assistant (at the company I worked at your kids could ride with you), school lunch helper, you work when they are in school then off on the days they are off mostly. And I believe you can collect unemployment for those days and in summer, depending on where you live.

Look for remote jobs. Theyā€™re are more and more available. Also, avoid MLM.

Look into the school district and see if they have any openings for parade professionals! I believe there is also a nationwide shortage of kitchen staff for schools.

I donā€™t know how you feel about animals or how much experience with them you have but I own a pet care business and set my own schedule. Mostly we board in our home but I also do drop ins and walks during the day for other clients.

I was a sahm for 12 years and when both of my children were in school I started out on PTO, then became a sub for their school only. Eventually I decided I needed a job with insurance so I applied for a Para professional job. You could apply to work in the lunchroom to. You will be off when your kids are off. I love my job, and all the kiddos that I work with. It is so rewarding!

Maybe Iā€™m jaded, but good luck finding an employer that will work with those demands. I have to work full time, you have no idea what some of us would give to be in your position. Maybe baby-sit out of your homeā€¦

Hallmark. I work for them as a store rep. I make my own hours and get paid pretty damn good and I can take off whenever I want.

I was a stay at home mom for 10 years. Got a receptionist job in a law office. Put my kids in a before and after care at their school.

I suggest cleaning houses! Thatā€™s what I do because I have to drop and pick up my son. I make my own hours it just takes some time to build up clientele

I got a job as lunch supervisor at my kids school. Itā€™s only 2hrs a day, but $20/hr plus pay on all their district holidays, as well. And all the same days off as them. It provides ā€œfun moneyā€ for us.
Look into the schools in your area!

I thought door dash pays you some mileage.

I donā€™t know where you live but there is a mass substitute shortage right now. Even if you only subbed half days, youā€™d still be able to work whenever you wanted. My school (middle) a half day for afternoon would be 11:15-2:55 (but technically a substitute would be done at 2:30). Plus if you needed off a day for an appt or something, you just donā€™t sign up to work that day.

I work at a school in the cafeteria. Iā€™m at a vocational school so itā€™s only 11th and 12th grades. Love it. 930 to 1. Still have time to do my grocery shopping alone after work and run errands before I have to be back for the kids. Summers and holidays off. It works for our busy school and extra circular activities.

Work at a daycare. Most daycares let your kids go free if you work there so if itā€™s close to their school then the daycare bus can take them to and from school.

Most people do not want to do restaurantsā€¦ But the hours you are wanting are ideal for lunch shifts for several positions during lunch shifts. Especially during the school year! Teenagers can work night and weekends. Hostessing at my is 11-2/3 during the week. Itā€™s light weight and kinda fun cause of getting to be around people. Restaurant workers are also in high demand right now so they are more likely to work w you an availability.

Iā€™d say good luck on them hours. Alot of companies donā€™t offer hours that ud like. Or be able to leave whenever u need for ur kid.
Alot of companies say they will but then once it starts happening then it becomes drama and hard to deal with.

Volunteering is the best bet cuz u can set up ur own schedule

If this is just to pass your time how are you with crafting? You could always jump on the holidays and special occasions and make things accordingly. Like homecoming mums, seasonal wreaths, floral arrangements, easter baskets, etcā€¦

For the people saying Daycare, I do not recommend it. U can not just leave if ur kid needs to be picked up. That puts a classroom out a teacher and then they end up having to move 4-5 kids to different classrooms

I worked in the school cafeteria when my kids were little.

Any of the restaurants at Cumberland College. I work from 9 to 230 a couple days a week just to get out of the house. My son is in school from 750 to 250.

Ive been a substitute teacher since 2002 bc of this, the flexibility. But im the sole provider for myself and my kids. So Iā€™m super broke. But we get by.

School districts are always hiring. Great work schedule for moms.

Dinner lady, cleaning. If you donā€™t need the financial gain maybe volunteer

Retail would work good for that schedule. Good luck

I m in the same boat thinking about finding a part time job
