My Grandfather’s name was Virgil Vaughn. If you google Nordic names that begin with “V” there are a lot of them. I just can’t pronounce them! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I had a friend many years ago that I I’ve skates with her name was Verna not sure of the origin.Never heard the name after then.

I have always loved the name Valerie, but is you’re looking for Viking why not Valhalla?

I have A younger friend who named her baby girl Violyn, pronounced “VEE-oh-len” and I think it’s beautiful. They call her Vivi for short, pronounced “vee-vee.”

My youngest sons name isVilos… Pronounced “Vilus” its my dads name. Came from the Appalachian blackfoot tribe…means little smokey cloud. My eldest sons name is Vere. Pronounced like “deer”. Means myst or light rain. Very rare… Yes you may use!

Depends on why you are choosing a viking name. Are you doing it because it would be cool or because you belive in the culture. If you do belive I would avoid Valhalla or valkyrie or anything with val in it .
