Gizmo watch is what we use, you can track with gps and call them at any time. They can only call who you program in there.

Just sew an apple tile into there hat… they always lose hats and then you’ll be covered :ok_hand:

GPS your kid? Why not put a chip in them

Apple tag with bracelet/necklace case holder . Etsy has some cute ones and I believe Amazon has some as well .

For bento boxes, we LOVE the sistema containers from Walmart/target/Amazon! (Cheaper at Walmart than Amazon actually)! Variety of sizes and compartments. Even single ones. We use for lunch, and the single and double side ones for school snack.

It’s only a matter of time til the Arkangel is real, if not already. Hopefully it does happen for (mentally stable) parents in the near future.

Anyone can hack an Apple tag. Research them.
Whichever you choose, research them fully. Many are hackable and others can track you and the system won’t tell you who.

This is the Bento box that we love:

I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff on how Apple air tags are being tracked and everything. You should research before you choose.

Tbh it’s a great idea in this day and age !
My daughter is 25 , but even back then there was a mishap with her getting put on a bus when she was a car rider . She was 5 !
It was incredibly scary and a huge mess.

The plantbox lunch box is SO much better than bento box! PlanetBox Rover Stainless Steel Lunch Box

Bento boxes went on clearance at Walmart :heavy_heart_exclamation: as for gps get the kids watch or put a tile in their pocket:grin:

The problem with it being a kindergarten child is whatever you put on them/with them is more than likely to end up elsewhere. it’s sad this is the day and age we live in. I hope you find a solution your child will allow to be left on them and not played with or left behind.

Following because I’ve also been thinking about this for my oldest who will start school this year. We’re planning to get both our kids bulletproof backpacks as well. We don’t have apple anything so no air tags for us, but I’m wanting to find something discreet like a necklace, bracelet, or even hair accessory. I’m really hoping to find something that wouldn’t get stripped from her by a kidnapper, cause sometimes they’ll immediately change a kids clothes after abduction.

My sister was actually abducted as a child, luckily dropped off in the next neighborhood. We think he lost interest after realizing she was autistic, she was not harmed. But this is a topic that obviously hits quite close to home for me.

I like the apple air tags they are tiny and you could cut a hole in the sole of the shoe and put it in there

If you are that worried and anxious about her going to school then just homeschool her.

I have the Tracki . I bought the tracker on Amazon ($23 I believe) and I pay $20 a month for the data portion. My son is special needs and is 6 years old. You can set locations, send texts if needed and there is an SOS button on the tracker. It also has a clip for those who are special need or sensory where they don’t like things on them. I clip it right to my sons belt or backpack and doesn’t bother him.

UPDATE: the 2022 model is cheaper and is amazing. Reviews speak for itself

If you buy the special lunch box, make sure she can open it herself without adult help.

I use the apple tag. I put it in a little pocket in her backpack that she doesn’t use. I too was incredibly nervous. My oldest started kindergarten in September. I like the tag and it definitely gave me more piece of mind. Cost $30 at target. My school also has a bus tracker so that helped me too. It’s an app and I can see where the bus is. Best of luck to you. I cried like crazy up until and on her first day!

The tasty brand for lunch boxes work great, no leaking, easy to seal for kiddos like mine who seem to struggle with almost everything :joy::joy::joy:

I bought an apple tag with a bracelet that the apple tag can go in! My daughter is too young for school but when we go places like camping or to the zoo I put it on her. Definitely recommend, works great!

We use the gizmo watch for our 1st grader. This is the first year she has taken the bus and we had a scary situation lol

We use an apple AirTag and Bentgo for lunch box.

Gabb watch. Has geo fences. She can call or send voice texts to 10 preprogrammed numbers. Constant gps tracking. If she loses it in her room or something it has a way to make it make noise even if its on silent to follow the noise. And it has a “virtual pet” that she can buy things for by earning coins with how many steps she walks or if she finishes chores you put on there. And cheap monthly

My best friends child is non verbal autistic and loves to run. Between the amount of times he has left school or darted away from us is crazy. She uses angel sense. They have a gps track that goes in the back of a t shirt they ware under there clothes, or other ones. you can set boundaries so if they leave the school grounds you get notified. And so does everyone on your list. You can talk to them thru it.

Gabb Wireless!!
We just got my 9 year old the watch and it has been awesome! They have 3 levels. They have the tag which is gps, no calls or texts; the watch only calls those on the contacts list that you put in through the app on your phone and texts are preset, no games, no google, no youtube, no camera; and the phone offers more calling and texting features without playstore, google, or any apps or games. We are super happy with the watch and will upgrade her to the phone in a couple of years.

Honest question .for the parents that say they got gps watch / bracelet what’s stopping the kids or bad guy from just taking it off .

It seems sad that they’re needed at all but these are the times we live in, I recall a birth I attended in the 90’s and the very first thing they did as soon as the baby was breathing was put a tracker bracelet on him, I assume someday children will need to be chipped at birth

Jesus I wonder what our parents did with us growing up. Oh that’s right, we walked blocks to school and home. Played with friends outside till the street lights came on we went to a park 9 blocks from home with no parents. Get this, there was NO cell phones, no tracker, no bs to waste money on.

Things are not the same anymore.

Verizon sells little smart watches that tracks kids and allows them to call pre programed phone numbers in an emergency

Gizmo watch thru Verizon. You can call, send predictive pre saved texts, limit up to I believe 10 people to call possibly more and is a gps tracker.
