I had this problem with my son. No he isnt diagnosed with add ADHD or autism. It’s a phase and you have to put a stop to it. It’s going to continue and get worse. He is 6 now and doesnt hit anymore. You are going to have to correct him every time he hits. I mean every time till he stops. My ex thought it would be fun to play hit with him and that’s where that all came from. Took a year to get the ex to stop but he finally did. Try correcting him every time he hits. It will work. It’s hard but you got this!!
Don’t be embarrassed. Teach him signing. Children tend to behave better when they can communicate.
He’s still a baby he’ll grow out of it
I had this problem with my youngest. I know it’s hard. I finally had to let my older one hit him back a few times. He quit. It’s a phase a lot of toddlers go through. He will more than likely grow out of it.
Same with my child and by 4 1/2 got diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and ODD at 6.
I’ve heard they lack vocabulary and get frustrated at that age most kids bite and hit at that age but this does need to be discussed with the pediatrician
This kind of behavior is for the specialist child counseling do it now do not wait been there
Smack his little behind and tell him no.
