My two year old got into this phase where she has to have us rock her till she goes to sleep otherwise she’ll scream until she hyperventilates. What do I do?
Mommy I wish I could say that I had the answer but we went through this for 4 years. My little boy slept through for the first time just after his 4th birthday. A lot of research says you foster independent children by making them feel secure, loved and validated. There were many nights I felt I was going to lose it buy in hindsight they passed so fast. Today I have a confident 5 year old who still needs me. Hold them a little longer, hug them a little closer.
