So my LO ( 6 months) is sick and filled with mucus! Anytime I use that horrible bulb she fights and screams. I just can’t bring myself to keep doing it due to her so miserable. What can I do to help get this mucus out. It is draining and causing her to cough so bad. Any recommendations to help my poor baby.
Once, I ran hot shower water to make the room steam. Then, I sat with my lil one.

Steam up the bathroom during bath time
I use Frida boogie sucker and saline to pull mucus out but I heard doing it too much has negatives so do it 1 time in the morning and evening
I would also consult your pediatrician if you haven’t already
We gently use a baby q-tip to help with our son. It’s a lot gentler than the bulb for sure
Hi there at the pharmacy theres a syrup i purchased for mucus relief for my baby only thing that helped
Get an electric nasal decongestant. They are better than using the bulb and easier to keep clean. If you use it with a saline drop it gets more out and helps baby eat and sleep more peacefully.
Nose Frida! I swear by this! Also spray some boogie saline in and suck it out! It loosens up any gunk that’s built up.
Get a dehumidifier it will help. Vicks vapor rub on chest and back.

Saline drops & an electric nasal aspirator. There’s also homeopathic mommy’s bliss daytime and night time expectorant and decongestant
Vicks vapor machine and you can get tiny cold tablets from Walmart that help too for infants

Only works for a little. Sick babies are just suffering really. It’s horrible
