My 7 year old wants pink hair...advice?

Let her if you feel it is right for you. I made my son wait a bit. He just asked last year though. My 12 year old wants the ends of his hair to be blue. I’m probably going to let him. I told him it’s his hair.

My daughter currently has teal hair. She wanted it to look like envy from inside out. She is 8. It is just hair and why not let kids be happy and feel confident with themselves.

If her hair is long why don’t you get the coloured hair plated into it and try that

I used to color my hair all the time and my boys who has blond hair asked me to do their hair and I did but when my daughter who got brown-ish black hair asked I hesitated but I ended up bleaching it when she was like 6 or 7 years old. I wanted to do half of her hair but she asked me for her whole head so I did. She had a very flashy green and we were going to Mexico so I really liked it cause I could spotted her very fast at the pool :joy::joy: when we came back the green was gone so she tried pink and purple. She’s 12 now still got some bleach at the end of her hair cause she likes to have some colors in it but not her whole head anymore lol

Do it! Nothing will beat the look on her face! My daughter is 11 and her daddy would automatically say no to color in her hair for summer …well 2 summers ago I decided to go ahead with a temp dye after bleaching the ends. She absolutely loved it and we do it every year! He daddy got over it and now says as long as it’s not during school we can do it🙌 her face is one I’ll never forget!

I let my 4 year old do like a pastel pink. We went to the salon where my friend works, it was more of a peekaboo type style and you could only see it under the hair. It was cute and fun and not permanent. She has blonde hair. Very subtle.

Do it! Go for the wash out stuff. It generally last a month or so. It’s hair, it’s not permanent, and it’s fun! We use manic panic. I’ve done my daughters hair pink, purple, blue, and a mix of them all.

My sister did my niece herself and it turned out cute!

We did it! It’s only hair. When my middle 2 girls were in pre K (4) & K (5) they played hairdresser with real scissors. They had to get some creative haircuts. That’s when we started with hair color. Now we have an array of colors that are semi permanent. Whenever they ask & I have time the kids get reverse highlights, there tips, underneath or whole head done.

Id let her do it.Its a fun way to express herself.

I have very dark hair and the mondo red color shows in mine without being beached. And it makes the hair super soft

What about pink extensions instead? Usually in October a lot of salons offer pink extensions for breast cancer awareness! And no damage to her hair.

Girl do it. It’s just hair! I dye both my girls hair!! Just be careful with the bleach since she is so young.

My daughter wanted a teal color when she was about that age. They had to bleach the part they dyed but it was a small section and it was under the top layer of hair on one side, about 1/2 inch wide or so. It wasn’t overpowering since it was underneath and honestly it was adorable.

Use beets. It’s natural and will wash out in a few shampoos.

My daughter has dark hair and always has pink on the sides. Manic Panic hair dye is what she uses, no need to bleach it… the color is very good!!

Spray color works great on dark hair. We use colored hair spray for my son’s birthday and he loved having blue hair for one day.
